Cindy Sheehan has gone from opposing President Bush to bashing America. Calling the United States "immoral", she says she doesn't want to live in a country like this and is ready for jail. The woman, whose son was killed in Iraq, is protesting at Crawford, TX and said the following today:
SHEEHAN: "I don't want to live in a country like this. And this country is immoral, the laws are immoral, the people who enforce the laws are immoral. And, like Henry David Thoreau said, the only place for a moral person to be is in jail. And I'm ready to go to jail."

Sheehan's outrageous comments today came during an interview with moonbat conspiracy radio host, Alex Jones.
So, Mrs. Sheehan, since you are now the arbiter of what is and what is not moral, and what is and is not fair, and what is and is not good foreign policy: What then is the solution?
Should we send those awful Jews and their Zionist conspirators back to Germany?
And how is proposing a new nation for a people who have been repressed by their 'own' for 50 years+ (the Palestinians) an unfair policy?
How is allowing OPEC to set the price of oil an unfair policy? John Kerry himself said we should just tell the Saudis what we are willing to pay...
How is it that 25 million women (between Afghanistan and Iraq) gaining the right to vote in the last 18 months is an 'unfair' policy?
And finally:
Who got to her and what color was the Kule-Ade? (I want to know which to avoid!)
That's ok. I guess it'll take more than milk vomit coming from someones nose and mouth to make me lay down my cheetos. But, it's still gross visual. :-)

You are right. She must be channeling her grief to what she feels is a noble cause even if her cause is misguided. It's a shame she couldn't use her time more constructively like promoting the Wounded Warrior Project or the Disabled American Vets. The wounded vets who are returning have a lot to deal with because they have to live the rest of their lives with their disabilities and I think she could do more good by getting involved with these projects than becoming a poster girl for the left.
Henry David Thoreau was America's shiniest Gold Brick. Walden should be been subtitled "How I spent my summer vacation". He was a bum. Why would she go to jail? She needs a mental institution.

It is very sad. Trajedy of loss of her son, trajedy of her own loss to liberalism. Drudge had all her contridictory statements. I see someone coming apart at the seams. At this point it can only discredit the left further.
You are spot on. It's a public breakdown.She's being manipulated and goaded by the leftists. Code Pink springs to mind. It's a shame really. I feel sorry for her. Her grief is being twisted, magnified and prolonged by those pretending to compassion, i.e., liberals.

This person seems to be illiterate and uneducated. She has registered her unhappiness and may be ignored from now on.

In her case, the key word is "QUIET"!
I say let her have her say, as misguided as she is. She may be going through some mental problems due to the loss of her patriot son. "The tree of liberty is nurtured by the blood of patriots".
I'm starting to wonder if it is a managed breakdown. Could Code Pink have assigned her a "handler", managing who she comes in contact with, etc? Not trying to be tinfoil, just an example of cultlike manipulation by the far left. And when Sheehan has served her purpose, she's going to get kicked to the curb.
I agree, have you see the tax code? Have you seen the government regulations on commerse? Have you read the various laws and statutes agains armed self protection passed in the name of safety?
Immoral indeed.
We have laws that protect our freedom of speech. Perhaps she would be happier if we changed them just this once, for her, and put her in jail cell with other women who also hate the laws.
