I agree, Beth is in a different mode. It does appear the heat is on and Beth is taking control of the thermostat.
We might be getting more information from Beth soon. I'll be watching the 2 hours special tomorrow night.
And this is important to you, why? The use of the word "definitely"? Would "probably" be more to your liking?
Do you believe that "any sex was definitely against her will"? If so, why?

Peter Jennings has died....
> And this is important to you, why? The use of the word "definitely"? Would "probably" be more to your liking?
"Possibly" would be even better.
Correction, make that post #77.
Which you already did. Oh well, see it your way.

Sorry, no such thing. Post 64 is by me. Why not give me a simple yes or no answer to my question instead. You can elaborate as you wish, but give me an asnwer first.
Yes, I heard that. I had read about his illness a couple of days ago, so am not surprised.
RIP, Mr Jennings.
I believe she was slipped something in a drink. Having been the victim of this twice myself (once by supposed "friends" in a fraternity in college, and another time by a supposed "nice guy" some friends introduced to me)I can tell you that I truly thought I was going to die both times. I became violently ill and was unconscious for two days the first time and 8 hours the second time. Was rescued by friends both times, luckily. I always thought men who did this should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. They obviously have no clue as to what their victim's medical condition might be or whether the girl may be on other medication. I was healthy at the time and thought I would die. It doesn't just happen to the young - a 47 year old friend had something slipped into
her drink a couple years ago and she was out for 24 hours.
My guess is that if Natalee was fully conscious and just being a willing party girl, she would have also had the "street smarts" to have gotten away safely. I believe she was a total victim.
you got mail
Logic + Circumstances(including some evidence) = Deduction, (possibilities and probability)
The point is that since many 18 year old girls are known to volunatrily engage in sex you can't assert that "any sex was definitely agaisnt her will" without any corroborating evidence. Do you believe that "any sex was definitely against her will"? If so, why?
Defenitely, I can't, and neither can you say that she willingly agreed to sex. Since neither one of us can say for sure, I'll give you my reasons why I believe, if there was any sex involved, it was against her will.
1. She had just met the boys.
2. The environment (in a car in a foreign land) was not conducive to such an act.
3. I've come to learn about Nat in these threads and elsewhere and believe her to have high moral values.
4. On a first encounter it's very unlikely for a girl to have sex with three guys or with just one while the other two watch.
5. If she had sex willingly, that would have been it and each party would have gone their way. The fact that she disappeared is a good indication that she resisted and may have been killed for doing so.
Jossy on Fox saying new tape was found on west side of island. Far from where the other was found.

And that I never claimed.
> 1. She had just met the boys.
You mean you have never done it with a girl/woman you have met the same day?
> 2. The environment (in a car in a foreign land) was not
> conducive to such an act.
I would say the environment (vacation, in a foreign land) is very much conducive to letting loose and doing things one would not normally do it at home.
> 3. I've come to learn about Nat in these threads and

Ties into 2. Away from home, things are a little different. Esepcially if alcohol is consumed.
> 4. On a first encounter it's very unlikely for a girl to
> have sex with three guys or with just one while the other
> two watch.
For which we have no evidence.
> 5. If she had sex willingly, that would have been it and

No it just means that something happened. Many things could have happened.
Something bad, to be sure. And yes, Joran looks very suspicious. But I am not for symbolically crucifying a man without any evidence.
> I strongly disagree. Girls like Natalee are not one night
> stands, and seldom if ever get involved with boys without
> knowing them very well.
And I suspect you know Natalee personally then? Or where do you get your insights into her personality and sex life?
Look, I am arguing from ignorance here. None of us knwos too much about what went down in that car. So we better not assume based on our notions what "good girls" do and don't do with strage boys, ok.
But I am not for symbolically crucifying a man without any evidence.
ok why did he lie? Why did the Kalpoes lie? why did she disappear?
> ok why did he lie? Why did the Kalpoes lie? why did she
> disappear?
Of course, that's the mistery. We would not be devoting 13 threads with 2000+ posts each to it if it were easy, would we?
