The Impeach Bush crowd is warming up for the big event. Democrat congressman Maurice Hinchey of New York a Hillary operative notorious for his loose lips provided some useful insights into the Democrats impeachment strategy in remarks delivered at a July 30 town hall meeting in Ithaca, New York.
Citing the Downing Street memos and the Plamegate controversy, Hinchey stated in a public forum at Ithacas Town Hall, My greatest hope is that all of these things will be revealed, they will be revealed in a very direct and legal context, and that in 2006 a Democratic majority will be elected to the House of Representatives, and in February of 2006 impeachment proceedings will begin.
Hinchey, an ultra-left Democrat, represents New Yorks 22nd Congressional District, which encompasses Cornell University and the artists colony at Woodstock, New York, scene of the 1969 music festival enshrined in countercultural legend.
Like Hillary in her 2000 Senate race, Hinchey was cross-endorsed in the 2004 election by the far-left Working Families Party a front group for the radical cult ACORN, which ACORN established in New York in 1998.

Rich; That website is a piece of work..
The hijacking of, often overlooked, foundations and trusts created by capitalists.. serveing socialist needs and desires.. 87 BILLION in assets of private funds(not counting gov't partipation) financing left wing causes.. hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.. even while we sleep.. Mostly funding propaganda and propagandists..
Little wonder american sheeple are glassy eyed and confused.. 87 billion and more of abject in your face malfeance against a FREE REPUBLIC.. add most laywers, the MsM, and MsP, Hollywood, Academia, and Oprah and the Harpo'crites.. and we're talking a juggernaut of nastyness..
Hard believe we still HAVE a more or less FREE REPUBLIC at ALL.. Wolves among the sheeple they are..

The 'yawning masses' are much more interested in their Social Security than they are with border issues. EVERYONE has to deal with Soc. Sec., not everyone lives near a border, nor does everyone feel their livelihood threatened by illegal immigration.

They're cute when they're delusional, aren't they?I think we ought to start posting their press releases for the last two months prior to the last election:
The biggest win ever for the progressives.
Huge landslide!
Bigger victory than we dared to imagine (delusional doesn't begin to describe it) !

I was listening to the Michael Medved radio show the other day and a lefty caller began making a point about the Conyer's charade. When Michael Medved pointed out that this piece of bad theater was not officially sanctioned by the Congress the caller was stunned.
This nimrod actually thought it was an official congressional sponsored hearing.
Always remember liberals are smarter than conservatives. After all thats what they say so it must be true.

A senior British official who reviewed the copies said their content appeared authentic. I remember at one point, the same was said of the Rathergate forgeries...

This is DOA. Not only will they have to retake Congress, which they won't, but they wouldn't DARE try something like this with a member of Congress running for president in 2008. If it fails, she'll be even more unelectable.

This nimrod actually thought it was an official congressional sponsored hearing. And now he's probably writing letters to the editor of his local gay singles meet-up sheet claiming that Medved is spreading lies about Conyers' hearing. These people are beyond hopeless - the execs at Reynolds just have to get on their knees every night and thank a generous God for their existence.

Oh oh oh! Don't forget the TANG docs! I hope they really go after him over those.

"I've been looking for evidence that the Downing Street Memo was discredited. Do you have a link?"
The author (ha ha) claims that it was retyped and the original destroyed.
Doh!

OK, fine - bring it on. If you intend to impeach Mr. Bush if you get the congressional majority, be a man like Gingrich and the Republicans were in '94 - write yourself a manifesto, get it printed as an ad in TV Guide, call a news conferfence on the Capitol steps, and have every Democratic congressional candidate announce to the world that in 2006 a vote for a Democratic Congressman is a vote for the impeachment of George W. Bush. Just like that "coulda woulda shoulda won in Ohio's 2nd CD" Hackett guy did. </sarcasm>

The major problem, of course, is that the Dims have to have a majority in the House for this to go anywhere and they are smoking crack if they think that's going to happen.
It would almost be fun to send a few RINOs out to join them, get the whole impeachment ball rolling just so the Dims can show what true power-obsessed lunatics they are - just in time for the 2006 elections.
Remember how the libs warned about backlash when the Republicans tried impeachment in 1998? Imagine the backlash you'd see if the libs tried impeachment during a time of war.

And this is why the democrats have been trying to take out Tom DeLay. Because .. with Tom there .. there is NO WAY IN HELL impeachment will get any validity at all.
And .. if the dems are going to use the "Downing Street Memo" and the "Plame" mess .. their foundation has no support and will therefore fail.
