Mr Waheed said the group had made its position on the London bombings clear - that it was “not justified to take innocent lives”.

...they always fail to mention what true Muslims are suppose to DO when confronted with fanatics who hijack their religion....in a sense THEIR FAILURE to react to
what THEIR obligations are,are always omitted when speeches are made and the media never ask...
Leaders in the Muslim community know very well that issuing a statement condemning violence means nothing without NAMING THOSE SPECIFICALLY responsible for it.
It may sound good to western journalist,it may look good in print, and it may fool many law abiding citizens into believing THEIR doing THEIR part..but they are not, and most Muslims KNOW IT.

ah, it begins….. Brits put pressure on "extremists" only to find that the moderates become extreme in the process. More terror, more pressure, ultimately leading to ????????

And you've hit the nail on the head. Three of the most successful examples of terrorism at work are the French and Russian revolutions and the takeover of Iran by the mullahs. Having said that, I salute Blair for taking a stand. If they had been less tolerant of that garbage spewing from the imams years ago, they might have choked off their in-house problem.

Sadly, the answer lies in the people. They have to be awake enough to understand that it is the terrorists at the root of the problem and not the government. This is where a nation has to stand together in order to survive, and not let the terror tactics succeed.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is a non-violent political party. It has had a history of non-violence for the last 50 years

I think at times like these we have to adopt the attitude that you're either for us, or you're against us. It's obvious to me that most of the Muslim community doesn't feel like they have a connection with our society. They feel more strongly towards their religious brothers and sisters. That's all fine and good by me. But at some point we have to say that if their loyalties aren't with us, why do we continue to trust them? If some percentage of the Muslim community wants to blow us up (some people estimate 10%), and the majority of the rest (let's say 89%) feel more obligated to the radical 10% than they do to us, than why should we care if the 89% majority aren't violent. Their inaction is just as deadly as the radicals they are protecting.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s pledge to ban militant Islamic groups will be seen by Muslims as “stifling legitimate political dissent”, a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir said today.

Legitimate political dissent?

“I believe the whole of Britain has become Dar ul-Harb (land of war). In such a state, he added, “the kuffar (non-believer) has no sanctity for their own life or property.”
Omar Bakri Mohammed in January 2005, who has lived in the UK for 18 years on social security benefits

Legitimate political dissent?

I say to you: You must look at our situation with an outlook of confidence in Allah's victory! If you help Allah (spread Islam), Allah will bring you victory. We once ruled the world and the day will come when, by God, we will rule the entire world. The day will come when we will rule the United States, the day will come when we will rule Britain, we will rule the whole world (and all will live in peace and comfort under our rule) except the Jews.
sermon delivered by a leading Hamas Imam, Sheik Ibrahim Muderas, reported on June 6, 2005

Legitimate political dissent?

"I want to see the black flag of Islam flying over Downing Street." - Britain's Muslim Shaikh Omar Bakri Mohammad, Trafalgar Square

Legitimate political dissent?

Asked what constituted a legitimate target, Bakri said: “We don’t make a distinction between civilians and non-civilians, innocents and non-innocents. Only between Muslims and non-believers. And the life of an unbeliever has no value. It has no sanctity.”

Legitimate political dissent? I don't think so.

They never have. The Islamic faith is incompatible with Democracy. Muslims use the freedoms inherent in Democracy as a weapon to destroy Democracy and replace it with Sharia, a fascist & theocratic regime based on the Koran and Hadith.

Democracy cannot be forced on people of Muslim faith because they are brainwashed from birth the moral relativisms of the Koran & Hadith juxtaposed into Sharia.

All major religions of the world hold as the central basis of morality the belief in the ‘Golden Rule’ meaning to ‘treat others as you would want to be treated’.

Bahá'í Faith: “Choose thou for thy neighbour that which thou choosest for thyself." Epistle to the Son of the Wolf

Brahmanism: "This is the sum of duty: Do naught unto others which would cause you pain if done to you". Mahabharata, 5:1517

Buddhism: "...a state that is not pleasing or delightful to me, how could I inflict that upon another?" Samyutta NIkaya v. 353

Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful." Udana-Varga 5:18

Christianity: "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." Matthew 7:12, King James Version.

"And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise." Luke 6:31, King James Version.

"...and don't do what you hate...", Gospel of Thomas 6.

Confucianism: "Do not do to others what you do not want them to do to you" Analects 15:23

"Ze-Gong asked, 'Is there one word that can serve as a principle of conduct for life?' Confucius replied, 'It is the word 'xu' -- reciprocity. Do not impose on others what you yourself do not desire.'" Doctrine of the Mean 13.3

"Try your best to treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself, and you will find that this is the shortest way to benevolence." Mencius VII.A.4

Ancient Egyptian: "Do for one who may do for you, that you may cause him thus to do." The Tale of the Eloquent Peasant, 109 - 110 Translated by R.B. Parkinson. The original dates to 1970 to 1640 BCE and may be the earliest version ever written.

Hinduism: "One should not behave towards others in a way which is disagreeable to oneself." Mencius Vii.A.4

"This is the sum of the Dharma [duty]: do naught unto others which would cause you pain if done to you." Mahabharata 5:1517

Humanism: "(5) Humanists acknowledge human interdependence, the need for mutual respect and the kinship of all humanity."

"Don't do things you wouldn't want to have done to you, British Humanist Society.

Jainism: "In happiness and suffering, in joy and grief, we should regard all creatures as we regard our own self." Lord Mahavira, 24th Tirthankara

"A man should wander about treating all creatures as he himself would be treated. "Sutrakritanga 1.11.33

Judaism: "...thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.", Leviticus 19:18

"What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow man. This is the law: all the rest is commentary." Talmud, Shabbat 31a.

"And what you hate, do not do to any one." Tobit 4:15

Native American Spirituality:
"All things are our relatives; what we do to everything, we do to ourselves. All is really One." Black Elk

Roman Pagan Religion: "The law imprinted on the hearts of all men is to love the members of society as themselves."

Shinto: "The heart of the person before you is a mirror. See there your own form"

Sikhism: "Don't create enmity with anyone as God is within everyone." Guru Arjan Devji 259

Taoism: "Regard your neighbor's gain as your own gain, and your neighbor's loss as your own loss." T'ai Shang Kan Ying P'ien.

Wicca: "An it harm no one, do what thou wilt" (i.e. do what ever you will, as long as it harms nobody, including yourself). One's will is to be carefully thought out in advance of action. This is called the Wiccan Rede

Yoruba: ( Nigeria ): "One going to take a pointed stick to pinch a baby bird should first try it on himself to feel how it hurts."

Zoroastrianism: "That nature alone is good which refrains from doing unto another whatsoever is not good for itself". Dadistan-i-dinik 94:5

"Whatever is disagreeable to yourself do not do unto others." Shayast-na-Shayast 13:29

In Islam, this isn’t the case. In Islam, the world is broken into two parts, the world of Muslims and the world of infidels. Mohammed ordered Muslims to treat each other one way and to treat the infidels another. It’s this ‘do what Mohammed/Allah said or else’, regardless if it defies the ‘golden rule’ or common sense.

None of you [truly] believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself." Number 13 of Imam "Al-Nawawi's Forty Hadiths."

This brotherhood however does not extend to everyone. Quran (9:23) states that the believers should not take for friends and protectors (awlia) their fathers and brothers if they love Infidelity above Islam. In fact there are many verses that tell the Muslims to kill the unbelievers and be harsh with them. A clear example that Islam is not based on the Golden Rule is the verse (48:29) It says: "Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other.”

The bottom line is that Democracy is built on the principles of the 'golden rule' and Islam is not.

I LOVED THOSE WORDS of PRIME MINISTER BLAIR!

We need a little bit of that around here....How I wish our President would reflect these words....our nation needs to hear this! We all need to hear this type of unifying rhetoric.

We have all become victems of the socialist elitists who under the cover of political correctness, make it appear to all that anyone who supports our cultural heritage is a hate monger.

HORSE PATUDDIE

Time for our President to lay it out not only in terms of where our nation stands in terms of defending our culture, but where our nation stands in terms of fighting this war where it breeds...in the middle east.

And SCREW SAUDI ARABIA.

When they trash their laws that trash the women in their society, when they allow OTHER FAITHS to thrive in their lands...THEN they can have a voice here.

Muslims need to understand

They have no interest in 'understanding' anything, only in domination. WE are the ones who need to 'understand' once and for all that there is no place for ANY of these people in our countries.

They hate the West. Why are they here ?

To convert us. They believe it is their duty to turn the West into Islamic states, no matter how many generations it takes to do so. It's like Chinese water torture, one drop at a time until it's accomplished. First step, getting established in every community in the U.S., next the school systems and then election to public office. Pray for our grandchildren.

IMHO Islam is much less a religion and is much more a political movement. These people are first wave invaders. They should be treated as such. Warning indeed.

"Great post! Thank you for taking the time to do this."

- Thank you and you're welcome but don't give me credit. This and much more can be learned by visiting www.faithfreedom.org.

The religion of Islam must be destroyed for there to be peace in this world. Its ideology is incredibly weak and vulnerable necessitating its use of terror, fear, lies and ignorance to both control its adherents and spread itself like a disease.

It's our duty as good citizens to spread the word far and wide once we know the truth. The truth will set us all free.

That is EXACTLY how Winston Chruchill viewed them.

They are conquerors...not of faith, but of a political system that dispises women, is intolerant of any other faith and rules by a total suppression of all freedoms.

This islamo fascist pig waheed speaks with a forked tongue.

Waheed says, "We want an end to Western interference in Muslim countries.”

Then waheed says, "British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s pledge to ban militant Islamic groups will be seen by Muslims as “stifling legitimate political dissent”

So waheed wants to interfer in western civilization's political process himself, but seeks to deny that same due process for western civilization in barbaric muslim countries.
