PANAMA CITY, Fla. — A man who got angry with his wife because she wanted to cuddle after sex when what he really wanted to do was watch sports on television was sentenced to death for killing her with a claw hammer.
Christopher Offord (search), 30, was sentenced Wednesday by Circuit Judge Dedee Costello (search), who said the brutality of the crime outweighed any mental problems Offord may have had.
"The defendant struck his wife approximately 70 individual blows after spending a happy interlude with her," the judge said. "Her desire to cuddle after sex does not justify the extremely violent, brutal response of the defendant."

He's nuts alright. And as usual, the MSM is not covering the full story, IMHO. Perhaps she was a manipulative nag. Of course this in no way justifies what this creep did... But portraying her as a sweet harmless thing.. How do they know this?

Not just the media, people in general. That was one of the first things I picked-up on immediately following the 9-11 attacks. The number of people that looked at the death toll and reflected it must have been their time. NO, it was not their time!
Murder is an intentional act of an individual or group in taking the innocent life of another person, or people outside of God's intended time, and outside God's law the allow for the killing in self-defense (war and justifiable homicide), punishment for certain crimes (execution), and accidental killing (manslaughter). The only similarity murder and killing share is death.
