1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Heavenly Father,

We come to You in gratitude for Your blessings and Your care and in praise of Your greatness. You are, indeed, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings, greatly to be praised. Father, we are humbled to know that You love us enough that You sacrificed Your own dear Son, sending Him to shed His blood to atone for our sins. We accept Your forgiveness, bought at such a high price, and ask that You lead and guide us that we may stay on the path of righteousness, for Your Name's sake. Let our thoughts and words and deeds bring honor and glory to You and witness to Your glory.

Father, we pray for our President, a man of humility, sincerity, and faith and yet one who is reviled by his enemies abroad and at home. Let the lies of his foes be turned back upon themselves, catching them in their own deceit. Fill the President's cup with wisdom and discernment that he may lead our nation according to Your will. Be his strength and his comfort. Let him use this time at his ranch to spend extra time in devotion and study of Your word that he may better understand Your desires for him as he leads our nation. Bless his beloved Laura and let their marriage continue to be a haven of peace and love for them. Lord, we know that our President is constantly under threat and we claim Your protection for him and all his family.

Those in our military have given so much, even unto death, to defend and preserve the liberty that is Your gift to all mankind. Bless them, O Lord; comfort them when they grieve for fallen brothers and sisters; shield them from the enemy who lurks in the shadows; strengthen them for the battles ahead; heal those who are wounded in body or spirit. Place Your loving arms around those whose loved ones have died in defense of freedom and let them know that You are with them always.

Lord, we live in a time when many want to erode the values that are laid out in Your Commandments. Help us to always be steadfast and immovable, not letting our principles be diluted by the carnal world. We pray for the day when we once again become a culture of life and individual responsibility, seeking and recognizing the Truth and not falling prey to the wiles of the devil, who would cause us to stray. We ask these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We call upon the name of God. May He hear our prayers, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior, Amen.

Thank you again kayak. I have been studying Paul's letters to the Corinthians. Although Paul was convinced that the second coming of Christ was imminent, I found his answers and guidance to them to be full of wisdom.

Amen, Kayak, and thank you.

We also pray for the wisdom, direction, guidance and protection of our President's administrative staff and families. May Your perfect and good will be done in their offices and homes.

As we pray for the healing of our troops, we claim Is. 53:5, "the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed." and Jer. 30:17, "For I will restore you to health and I will heal you of your wounds, declares the Lord." That covenant of peace includes their souls and minds. Refresh and restore and heal bad memories and give them sweet sleep, Lord.

In Your goodness, Lord, we have confident trust and love You. Amen.

God Bless our fine President, his family, our Country and our Troops.
I pray for our allies who are helping us out and for those who are not to have their eyes opened to the good we are trying to do.
