Former CAIR head Omar Ahmad told a crowd of Californian Muslims in July 1998: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran ... should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth."
CAIR is an enemy organization. It should be dealt with as such.

This does not jibe with the views and teachings of leading Islamist scholars throughout the world. No? Let's ask Ruholla Khomeini. Or Omar Bakri Mohammed. Or Abu Hamza al-Masri. Or Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. They're "leading Islamist scholars," at least according to them and their rabid followers. And they use the Koran and their Muslim beliefs to justify the murders of thousands, and the enslavement of man.
I don't hear many Islamic scholars contradicting them either.
