Excellent!! The UN is having a bad day. Bolton and this report. I, on the other hand, am really enjoying this day. Screw the corrupt UN.

But . . . but . . .they must take the internet away from us -- on behalf of the common good!

I like this guy Coleman.

WhyTF should the UN have ANYthing to do with the internet?

The UN probably wants a better way to spread terrorism and would host this site:

www.terroristRus.ter

Although I'm glad Mr. Bolton is headed that way and will hopefully pound some sense into the UN, the UN is becoming a useless relic by it's inept handing of everything it touches.

The day that the internet falls under ANY govt. control, either U.N. or U.S. is the day I cancel my service.

FYI..Norm just KO'd Chrissie on Hardball..Norm was on to defend the recess appointment..so Matthews asked him about Bolton's crack about "losing the top ten floors of the UN"..Coleman interrupted Matthews, said that "Chris you're starting to sound like Barbara Boxer"...

BIG Kudos to Norm

Let the UN and their Communist stooges build their own damned Internet if they don't like the US running it.

Typical of them, though, to see something of value built by someone else, then demand to be given control of it.

Torch the UN, and drive the diplomats into the East River!

After reading Coleman's comments, I think even Al Gore would agree with him that the UN should never have control of the 'net.

I like the fact that he stood up against it but the reality of the UN trying this crap should be enough for a revolution in this country. The league of Nations was a terrible idea and the UN is worse. The UN should be eliminated from US territory period. Good lord, just imagine the world in 50, 75, 100 years your every thought and action monitored and regulated by third world concepts of world Government. But at least Condoms, a "lucrative" monthly welfare check and free health care will exist, anyway thats what they'll tell you and you'll not say otherwise or else you may find yourself part of the sustainable population growth mandate.

We don't want the virus that has plagued the U.N. for years to infest the internet too!

The problem with the UN is not that it is managed badly.

Coleman continued. "The U.S. is willing to work with other countries that have an interest in the management of their own country code domains but UN control is out of the question..."

Ya think???

On December 10, 1948 the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights...

Article 29.

3) These rights and freedoms may in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.

" My probe of the U.N. as Chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations revealed management that was at best, incompetent, and at worst corrupt," said Coleman.

I don't know much about this Senator, but I do know I liked his strong statement.
I made a point of letting him know.
