BUSH EXERCISES 6X A WEEK; 'MOST-FIT' PRESIDENT IN HISTORY
President Bush turned 59 years old this month and his health is in the "superior" fitness category for men his age -- greater than 99% percentile for 55-59 year-old men!
The latest health results make Bush the "most-fit" president in modern history.
He has not had a sick day in the past year -- and he works out 6 days a week: Workouts include bicycling (15-20 miles, 15-18mph), treadmill (low impact "hill-work"), elliptical trainer, free weight resistance training, and stretching.
The President takes a daily multi-vitamin, low-dose aspirin, glucosamine/chondroitin, and an omega 3 supplement.
Bush Weight: 191 pounds(last year 199)
Body Composition: Body fat 15.79% (last year 18.25%; normal for age 16.5-20.5%)
Resting heart rate (seated): 47 bpm
Resting blood pressure (seated): 110/64
Uncompensated (uncorrected) distant visual acuity was 20/20 in both eyes. Corrected near visual acuity was 20/20 in both eyes (the President uses reading glasses as needed).
Bush does suffer from gastroesophageal reflux (GERD), with well-defined triggers (e.g. coffee, peppermint).

ROFLMAO!!!!
Bush probably is more fit than Taft or Cleveland, and is definitely in better shape than FDR or Wilson. It's good to have a President who releases his medical records, but he wouldn't last long at Indian clubs or medicine ball with Coolidge or Hoover.
Reminds me of a Carlin skit...

His legs are WAY too skinny. ;)
Are you past 90? I was shamed this past weekend by a 70-yr-old in a 5K race who finished under 20 minutes.
Lighten up, Francis....
I don't really care what benefits he gets from it. Just the act of doing it (especially at his age) is a sign of emotional maturity and self-discipline--two qualities desperately needed in a President.
I think it helps in negotiating with foreign leaders... OTOH, Blair, Putin, even Chiraq to some extent, all seem like their in decent shape. Bush can't afford to be a pig like Clinton.
Just kidding, Cheney would probably be worse. ;-)
Taft was sort of like Clinton... a stress eater. He wasn't morbidly obese until the stress of the presidency got to him then he ballooned to like 350 lbs. So I try to cut him some slack -- he wasn't always the mountain of a man he's portrayed as. He was TR size. Robust.
He got upset because Bush asked the new Supreme Court nominee if he exercised.
Unreal. Clinton was a walrus and the media had no problem with that, of course.
At this rate, W will be jumping out of planes on his 100th birthday, thus again besting his father.
AMEN to that!

President rhp 47 bpm
Average rhb 72 bpm
My sentiments exactly...What a man!!
Not to be outdone, one ex-president is the horniest president in modern history.
