50,000 "Immunity Professionals"?

Armed, no doubt. I can't see this for under 200 infections reported. There is MUCH more going on than meets the eye here.

Even if it's as bad as all that, don't we have to go through "epidemic" before we get to "pandemic"?

I mean, 100 years ago epidemics killed a million people that no one outside the immediate area even knew about.

Streptococcus suis

Streptococcus suis, an important pathogen of pigs, is endemic in most pig-rearing countries of the world, including the UK. The organism is carried in the tonsils of pigs, and pig-to-pig spread is mainly by nose-to-nose contact or by aerosol over short distances. Human infection with Streptococcus suis is rarely reported and only about 150 cases have been reported from the world literature. Two serotypes have been implicated in human infections; S. suis type 2, an established zoonotic human pathogen and more recently S. suis type 14. Human infection may be severe, with meningitis, septicaemia, endocarditis, and deafness. People in direct contact with pigs or pig products are considered at risk. Asplenic patients are known to be at greater risk from the disease. Human infection is thought to occur mainly via cuts or abrasions when handling infected carcasses.

Government sent 50,000 immunity professionals to the region.

Sounds to me like a commie euphemism for military.

50,000 people dispatched to deal with this thing...I've heard of govt wastefulness and govt make-work programs, but even for Communist China that sounds a bit much.

Remember the Swine Flu of 1976 that emerged in Asia and caused pandemic fears in the U.S. ? There were accusations and counter allegations for years and years. Some people claim the Swine Flu vaccine did more harm than good.

Now we have Ebola killing people by the hundreds in Africa and fifteen varieties of Avian Flu spreading in Asia. Bird Flu (H5N1) has been found to infect several hosts of other species including man: ferrets, swine, bears, lions, tigers, and common house cats. Bird Flu is spread by eating infected bird meat, drinking blood from infected chickens, being near or around chickens, ducks, geese or migratory water fowl. The nurses and doctor who died from Bird Flu recently had no contacts with birds. They were simply treating patients in hospital wards. Therefore, good evidence exists that H5N1 is spread by humans-to-humans.

The Marburg Virus is classified as an "Arbovirus" and is easily spread by biting insects and birds. Since the article linked herein was published, Marburg's death rate increased from about 25% to over 90%. Some U.N.-WHO scientists are claiming that the new form of Marburg may be a mutated version of the Bird Flu, or, possibly, a fusion of Marburg and Bird Flu viruses: Angola Disease May Be a Form of Bird Flu

These horrible and often fatal disease are all nasty jungle viruses. They share common disease vectors and common hosts: Marburg, ebola, encephalitis, yellow fever, denge fever, numerous tropical fevers (e.g. mayaro, kyasanur, bunyamwere, marituba, punta toro, candira, etc.), chikungunya (meaning 'that which bends up'), and o'nyong-nyong (meaning 'weakening of the joints'), which are similar to denge fever found in Africa and Asia. The most common carriers of these diseases are the Aedes aegypti variety of mosquito, ticks, sand flies. Other less common carriers are flies and mites. All these diseases are able to travel great miles over thick jungles carried by birds and insects.

Read More Reports Here

It was only a matter of time before two or more of these viruses combine to form the ultimate killing disease, called perhaps the Chinese Avian Flu. Then air travel by migrating birds (and biting insects) and/ or by humans is just a few days or weeks away.

Indeed, we are on the cusp of a World Wide Pandemic from Hell . . . But nobody listens to me, anyway. I'm just a geezer trapped in the politically correct, openly gay, corrupt Demonrat paradise of Portland, Oregon.
