Former President Jimmy Carter said Saturday the detention of terror suspects at the Guantanamo Bay Naval base was an embarrassment and had given extremists an excuse to attack the United States. One of these days I'm going to understand why people actually vote for Dems.
Naaah. It's impossible

From this (former) Londoner to Jimmy:
F*** you.
If you hadn't been such a chicken rectum on Iran, much of the oxygen which fanned the flames of terrorism would not have been there. How many have died because of your failure to act? How many will die tomorrow? How many will die in years to come?
The very least you can do is shut up and go away.
Regards, Ivan

No Jimmy, YOU are the disgrace, your betrayal to America won't be forgotten. Your drunken brother and his Libyian connection was a disgrace. Your continual bad, sour grapes predictions are a disgrace.
1980 Daily News Headline: "President Carter criticized for last night's speech in Chicago in which he implies the election of Ronald Reagan to the presidency would lead to disunity among Americans."
Could anyone but Jimmy Carter get it so wrong?

Reagan was able to correct most of the damage Carter did. We are still living with the consequences of LBJ's "Great Society" and his mishandling of Vietnam.

I wonder where he is coming from, perhaps just peace a chance or no war is necessary? It borders on treason during a conflict like we are in, especially when an ex-President is making thos statements.
This war could last 1,000 years if everyone does not get on board and we start to act less civilized - just like the enemy that we face. Shoot to kill, a lot more often.
