Poland to keep military contingent in Iraq, says Prime Minister Belka.
On a visit to Baghdad on Tuesday, Poland's prime minister, Marek Belka said his country was determined to keep its military contingent of around 1,400 troops in Iraq. He said in the future Polish soldiers might focus on training missions, once stability returns to the war-torn country. Poland has the third largest contingent in the United States-led coalition in Iraq.

"I hereby now take back ever Polish army joke I have ever repeated."
Poland has been a great ally in this war and should be rewarded with moving of our German bases to Poland.
THANK YOU POLAND

Thank you, Poland! (My maternal grandparents were from Poland.)

Some of my ancestors came from a part of Germany that was given to Poland at the end of WW1, so I guess you could say that I'm part German and part Polish.

Poland is becoming the moral leader of Europe. It immediately got rid of abortion on demand. And well once you respect Life, everything else is easier to put right.

In 1962, at the height of communist rule in Poland, the number of abortions reached an all-time high of 199,400. The numbers slowly fell to 137,950 in 1980 at the time of the Gdansk shipyard strike that brought down communist rule and continued to plummet thereafter.
The number of abortions took a dramatic jump in 1996/97 going from 505 to 3171 when the abortion lobby succeeded in briefly liberalizing the law to allow abortion until the 12th week of pregnancy if a woman is in hard life conditions or in difficult personal situation. The law was restricted again in 1997 and the number immediately dropped to 312 and fell to 123 in 2001
