Veteran wire reporter Helen Thomas is vowing to 'kill herself' if Dick Cheney announces he is running for president.
The newspaper HILL first reported the startling claim on Thursday.

"The day Dick Cheney is going to run for president, I'll kill myself," she told the HILL. "All we need is one more liar."
Thomas added, "I think he'd like to run, but it would be a sad day for the country if he does."

I see it differently...
Helen Thomas is first and foremost someone's daughter.
She was once a vibrant, young and very innocent girl.
Somewhere in her past, the wrong elements dangled sparkling colored ribbons in front of her.
She did not see the fish hook in the center.
I have nothing but compassion for her, the deepest compassion. God is angry with those who corrupted her thought and stole her innocence.
Imagine her suffering now. From the lies she first embraced, her whole concept of self has been constructed.
How must it feel then to face the reality that your whole existance on earth, everything you believed in, all the good works of man you felt part of were nothing more than a lie; that your whole life has been largely meaningless.
As each year passes, the lines on her face grow longer and deeper. She only has stories now. Her purpose (and I imaging esteem) is fading, and the more it does the louder the knocks of truth are on the door of her soul.
It doesn't surprise me then that she would talk of "killing herself". Every moment alone in quiet contemplation must bring with it the suffering of inner struggle with no end in sight. Even, her only hope for relief, Hillary in '08, is a long shot. How sad is that. Seriously.
This is the fundamental problem with liberals, once committed to their idiology they can never realize the fraud of their lives. For to do so is to admit a wasted life, to die unsung, the liberals greatest fear.
I pity her. She is after all, one of God's children who's weakness was taken advantage of, leaving her with nothing to live for. ...so she freely admits.

Back to reality. She is evil. She chooses daily to NOT reflect on anything of lasting importance or value. That is her choice. And it shows. Her soul is reflected in her face. It goes deep, to the core. That face cannot be an accident of fate. That is a direct result of years of mean.

Vice President Cheney is not going to run anywhere except into retirement or some board. Who ever started this rumor is just plain tetched by the heat.
