You have given us another day of life, filled with blessings and graced by Your mercy and goodness. We humbly thank You that You give according to Your mercy and not according to our merit. We are sinners and the wages of sin is death but You have provided us a way ... The Way ... to eternal life through Your precious Son Jesus who died to atone for our sins. Lord, though we constantly fall short of Your will for our lives, You patiently guide us, chastise us, teach us, and love us. There are no words sufficient to express Your goodness nor our gratitude but read our hearts and accept our praise, O Lord.
Father, we pray for the youth of our nation, those in whose hands the future lies. Many in our land would deny them the right to worship You, to pray to You, to see Your Name in public places. Place Your Word in their hearts, O Lord, that they may know You and walk according to Your will. Give them boldness for Your righteousness and let them know Truth that they may not be deceived by the wiles of the devil and his henchmen who seek to lead them astray.
We thank You that we have a President who serves as a good role model for our youth -- a man who calls Your Name, who acknowledges You as his Lord, who loves our nation, is faithful and devoted to his wife, and who upholds family values. Keep him close to You, O Lord, that he may gain inspiration, strength, wisdom, and patience from Your Word and through his communion with You. Lighten the heavy burdens that he bears as leader of our nation and, indeed, the free world. We pray for his family and ask that You increase their faith each day that they may serve You better. Watch over all of them and keep them safe from all harm.
Lord, bless those who serve America in our armed forces. Many are far away in hostile environments facing a brutal but cowardly enemy who fights from the shadows and targets the innocent. Comfort them, Lord, and give them strength. Touch the hearts of those who do not have a relationship with You that they may come to know the joy of fellowship with the Lord God Almighty. Be an Anchor to the loved ones at home who struggle with the absence of their spouses, parents, or children, worrying about their welfare and yet proud of their service to our nation.
Father, we continue to lift up our brother alpha-8-25-02 to You, asking for healing for him.
We ask all these things in the Name of Jesus, our Lord and our Savior. Amen.
Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. - Psalms 106:1
(Romans 10:17)
"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyonefor kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior. -- I Timothy 2:1-3 (NIV)"
Thank You, Dear Lord, for the many blessings we receive. Please hear our prayer for our leaders and our great military so that we may have peace worldwide. Amen.
Agreeing with you all in Prayer, and Love and Prayers Continuing for our dear brother, Alpha.
Amen, Kayak
We give You glory today, Lord, because we know You are on the throne and also in us, hearkening to our prayers. We say, "Thank you." with grateful hearts.
Amen.
