July 26, 2005 — Five Egyptian men with maps of the New York City subway system and video of New York landmarks have been arrested by the Joint Terrorism Task Force in Newark, N.J., ABC News has learned.
FBI and law enforcement officials told ABC News the five men — four illegal immigrants and one law enforcement fugitive — were arrested Sunday night following a tip to the Newark Police Department. In addition to the subway maps and video, the men had train schedules and $8,000 in $20 and $50 bills.

They didn't. It is inevitable that the NYC subway and bus system will be bombed. The chances of that happening were made even greater through Bloomberg's no-profiling policy.

Also, there was a story about 4-6 weeks ago about moslems having a fire inspection break up a study session on subways in New York City. That occurred in Brooklyn near Malcom X Blvd (I am not kidding).
Exactly! I have to laugh at the "civil libertarians" on this thread. These people in the story have no right to be here, and we're removing them.
I sure hope they plan to keep these scumbags locked up until they are deported. Otherwise, kiss them goodbye, you'll never see them again.

Not exactly your standard tourist profile. And illegal immigrants who are here for purposes of eking out a living, generally aren't running around with video cameras taking footage of NYC landmarks. They're slaving away in Chinese takeouts, sewing in sweatshops, doing manual labor in contruction and landscaping, etc.
Where oh where have I heard that "Mohamed Atta" name before...hmmmm....something to do with New York...
I suggest a "new" scenario prior to deportation....lets say a burning pig lard bath prior to sending these peace loving "undocumented" aliens back to their home country...just as a warning to others that they will meet the same fate prior to being deported.
