It was a dark and stormy night. I was sitting back in the Mad Mammoth study, reviewing the latest threads on Free Republic, when my MSN Messenger icon barked that I had an email waiting.
I went to my InBox. What did I find? I had a very angry email from some schnook called 'lcjohnso' taking me to task for some long forgotten post I made on FR. Called me out. Wanted my address. Wanted to visit me with a bunch of his pals "anytime, anyplace", I'm wondering to myself "WTF is this nonsense?"
So I responded in a fairly cavalier manner, basically telling the misfit to pound sand and "get off the computer before your mommy gets home from the store".
I didn't think any more of it.
Until - "bark bark", MSN Icon was informing me of another NEW email!
I go to the InBox. Sure enough, it's this lcjohnso clown again, and that's when I realized it was really the one and only Larry C. Johnson, self-proclaimed expert on "intelligence", "terrorism", and author of that infamous NYT article in the Summer of 2001 claiming that terrorism was a "declining threat".
I poured another glass of Hiram Walker, on the rocks. I wondered what Johnson must be drinking, was it Boone Farm, Thunderbird, or M/D 20-20?
This time, I let him have both barrels and reminded him how pathetic it must be for him, a highly touted "intelligence analyst" to be reduced to trying to intimidate a lowly poster on Free Republic.
I signed off by encouraging him to "get professional help".

Why dont you have someone independantly email him at his netcom addy to confirm or deny ?
Because when emailing Johnson, you first have to click on a link to "request" that Johnson "authorize" your email to reach his inbox. I did that in my responses to him via a proxy server which would not reveal my own location.
Others who have commented on this have been reluctant to do so because they do not wish to run the risk of providing their own IP address to Johnson and/or his ISP.
I am privately freepmailing you his email address.
As the saying goes, "he who smelt it, dealt it".

There is an old saying known to nearly everyone about "You are known by the company you keep", and Valerie Plame's selection of Joe Wilson as her life partner speaks VOLUMES about her lack of any true moral center. Wilson is without a doubt, one of the most egotistical, self-promoting AND self-deluded SOBs to come down the pike in many a year. He has lied so much and so many times that now he's at the point where he doesn't even know what the truth is that he's supposed to be lying about.
And every morning, Ms. Valerie Plame-Wilson feeds that roaring furnace of a lying ego with only gawd-knows-what.
Now as for Larry and his Johnson, he has gone on the record as saying that he was in the same CIA class as "Valerie P" (as he says he was instructed to refer to her), and I can't help but wonder if there is some sort of unrequited/unfulfilled love-angle to all of this.
Hey now, that's Joe "Isuzu" Wilson, admiral of the El Paso Navy and highly decorated commander of something or other in the world colossus known as Gabon you are insulting.
LOL. Valerie Lame is probably just as self-exalted and fully of something very smelly as hubby Joe is. No wonder the idiots at Vanity Fair (Mr. Hitchens excepted) and the lamestream media love them so. Birds of a feather.
