Hillary courts centrists

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday said the nation has "gone off track" in Republican hands since the prosperous years of her husband's presidency, making her case along with other potential 2008 Democratic candidates to a group that helped Bill Clinton win the White House.

Speaking to the Democratic Leadership Council, Mrs. Clinton, New York Democrat, said the party must adopt a hard line on national security and back an increase in troop strength, echoing the centrist group's stance. She also called for expanded health care, increased jobs, better education and an end to fissures within the party.

"It's high time for a cease-fire. It's time for all Democrats to work together," said Mrs. Clinton, whose core message was a need for Democratic solidarity.

"After four years of Republican control, our country has not only gone off track, it has reversed course," she said. "Let's start by uniting against the hard-right ideology."

She can separate herself from her party but she can't separate her party from her. She can change all she wants but she will still surround herself with anti-american, pro-choice socialists. That is what we will attack her on.

She will keep all her leftists, and all she needs to do is pick off a few points from other groups. Add the campaign finance fraud she'll pull, $500 million from Soros, dead voters, mental patient voters, care facility voters, and illegal alien voters, and I don't know how she will be stopped.

That's some pretty tired material she's got and the election is a long ways off.

How can any sentinent human being believe hillary is becoming a "centrist"? Good Lord, is anybody that stupid? She knows it's a trick, the left knows it's a trick, the MSM knows it's a trick (and is doing everything they can to help her trick the great unwashed), and anybody stupid enough to fall for it is too stoopid to live.

"Good Lord, is anybody that stupid?"

She's a sitting US Senator, if that answers your question.

"...our country has not only gone off track, it has reversed course..."

Yup. We've gone from your Communist "It Takes A Village" to the more American, "It Takes A Family." Hang it up loser. The adults are in charge. Take your Commie propaganda to Cuba. They'd love it.

Her husband was a Centrist, then when he won the election he had:
Gays in the military
Hillary trying to pass socialized medicine

This brought and end to Democrat rule and the Republicans with the Contract with America forced Bill to the center.

Hillary is not a centrist. She is a socialist acting like a centrist to obtain power by fooling people since her views in fact make her unelectable.

prosperous years of her husband's presidency

Sure. The dork stole so much money from the nation, he left us in a bloody recession! Thank God Bush won instead of Gore! We'd all be eating bugs and weeds by now!

Then , he did nothing about the bogus book keeping going on in the big corporations he was trying to take credit for. Bush had to clean them up, too.

Let's not even talk about the terrorists build up to 9/11, or the military tech that he sold to China, who sold it to Korea, who sold it to Iran!!!!

The Clinton list of absolute failures goes on and on, and there's also this little thing called "impeachment".

If she runs, we've GOT to get official cards, buttons, and stickers about that. LOL.

In 2004, we were at odds with the left on AOL's message boards. We formed groups, shared information - much like FR - dug up more material and charged full speed ahead into the quagmire.

Some of us got kicked off AOL several times because they, too, are a left wing organization, but we persevered until the election was over. Then, many of us dropped AOL.

No one will ever convince me that we didn't make a difference in the presidential election of 2004!
