Hispanic, Islamic Groups Want Tancredo Out

Hispanic and Islamic groups called on Rep. Tom Tancredo to resign Monday, saying he has embarrassed Colorado by suggesting bombing Islamic holy sites if terrorists launch a nuclear attack on the U.S.
They also criticized the GOP congressman's staunch advocacy of tougher immigration controls.
"Enough is enough. We're here to say 'Stop,'" Hispanic activist Manolo Gonzalez-Estay told a crowd of about 200 at the state Capitol.
Abdur-Rahim Ali, imam of a Muslim shrine in Denver, said Tancredo's statement that "you could take out" Islamic holy sites in a retaliatory attack was unacceptable.
"What would happen if a prominent Muslim made that statement about Catholic holy places like the Vatican?" asked Ali.
Tancredo was traveling and unavailable for comment. His spokesman, Will Adams, said the four-term congressman has no intention of apologizing or resigning.
"They are a lot more upset about what he stands for, our nation's security and border policy, than anything else," Adams said.
Because it's not a small % of idiots.
Has anyone here truly read the Koran, because I don't have time to. The Islamists normally retort that we have violence in our scriptures as well, and we explain that the violence is not part of the underlying theme. Then they say the same and that Jihad takes on a number of meanings. Well, either violence and conversion is at the heart of the religion or it is not. Somebody must know the answer.
BTW, how can we as citizens prove to the oligarchs in office that Tancredo is a true representative that needs to be heard. Example: Goldwater was considered dangerous to the war in Vietnam, yet the alternative was over 50,000 dead Americans doing it Johnson's way. Now who's the extremist??

Perhaps he is, but I would hope we do not need to hope for an attack in order for us to win the White House again. We need a Tancredo, but not that badly.

It's news because these "200" are standing against a Republican. It we had 10,000 stand against a democrat, it wouldn't be news. The MSM is a little biased against us...
Here's what I would like to know -- what does this Imam expect us to do when they kill 15 or 20 million of us? Should we all convert to Islam? Why doesn't some reporter ask him? I would like to know the answer and I want to kow why a reporter won't ask..

Being registered, a citizen or even alive and kicking hasn't been a prerequisite for voting Dem in a long time.

Actually I think he crossed the line just a bit too far simply because such a statement could come back to haunt him in a debate.
Don't count him out. Republicans are fed up.
So, can Halliburtion drill though glass? If not they need to get working on that.
I have to conclude that adherents of islam are mental deficients.
The rational question would be phrased thus:
If the vatican attacked major muslim cities with nuclear weapons, and the muslims threatened to retaliate in kind, I'd be right there supporting them.
Mental deficients may be too mild a phrase.

These people don't need a reason to kill us and threatening to 'NUKE MECCA' is just a talking point for them and isn't going to change one damn thing.
