Natalee Holloway and friends in Aruba 5/30/05
On another note, God Speed the crew of Discovery.
It was transcribed by a SM poster in segments. I kindly put some of them together in one post so my fellow freepers didn't have to read through multiple pages of posts.
I appreciated it,,hate to go looking for posts in various links.
I'm watching a live feed from Fox of the Discovery. Goosebumps! And love hearing a woman's voice reporting.
Thank you.
I had a coyote try to attack my 60 Lb. golden retriever while I was walking her on a leash . We were along a four lane road on the sidewalk.
The mother of the Alabama teenager missing in Aruba singled out US Airways for praise in a national interview last week.
On CNN Headline News, Beth Holloway Twitty said US Airways Chairman David Bronner, head of Alabama's pension system, intervened to help. The airline offered special fares for her and others to Aruba, she said.
"US Air stepped up. ... It's awesome," she said. A US Airways spokesman said he would not discuss special fares offered to the family and others but said: "We recognize that this is a pretty tragic set of circumstances, and we've been helpful where we can."
Twitty's daughter, Natalee Holloway, disappeared in May during a trip to the island.
Police have quadrupled their presence on Bimini as they interrogate Bahamians and visitors who might be able to shed more light on the murders of two Austrian tourists.
interesting hook, dearie: so what is this aruban story that is more sinister and profoundly related to the natalee story? please drop us a link to something or provide a thumbnail
thanks
And you want very much to believe him, don't you?
I don't know her either, but I did hear that the charge she was considering was murder. If that is true, and if she continues with that line, she will lose the case. That is what I meant by stupid.
and three cheers for your reply to MAWG as the focus should remain on the perps until they are incarcerated permanently and your statements to MAWG are right on...can't get this pitcairn thing out of my mind since you brought it up, tho, since that involves a social acceptance within the island community of rape as an initiation into adult life, and apparently is a continuum for adult females on pitcairn, evolving from some strange twisted male view (and i'm a guy, but rape isn't a thought that ever comes to mind when seeing an alluring and attractive female or, like on pitcairn, a 10 year old virgin)...it was stated in an earlier thread, but our human civilization as a whole is no more sophisticated and kind than these boys are, or the folks on pitcairn, and what ever fate natalee experienced is a bell tolling for all of us
Sorry you misunderstood my post. I was quoting "Debbie" from http://www.aruba.com. It's an Aruban government site with info on Aruba. Click on "message board." That's where you'll see a Natalee Holloway forum.
It wasn't me who was slamming Natalee. You have me confused with Ripper.
sorry MAWG...ok, thanks for ripping Ripper, cajungirl, since natalee is well established as a non-bimbo....and please provide some links to the pitcairn situation socially and that of aruba, or provide a thumbnail sketch of what you are thinking or know...are you implying there is an acceptance of forced sex with tourist females or local females on the island?
What is this? Is that Deepaks car?
Help! What does it say? (this is not an ING commercial)
Not Deepak's car, his is a silver/gray Honda.
Oh, that's right. Silver. So, whose car is it? lol
