EVERYBODY..no one has mentioned what T.J. Ward, the Private Investigator said on Larry King tonight.
He said that the the Arubans can hold Joran because they have a LAW that says "if you leave an establishment and the party you are with "disappears", then you are subject to KIDNAPPING.
Ward is just surprised that Joran hasn't been formally charged yet.
If Ward is correct, Joran is toast.

yes, it can be programmed, but from what i've read those calls do not relate to natalee's personal cell and that a male voice was heard in the background that implied the caller was using the male voice's phone to make a call...and a call to both beth and the cousin makes this an astoundingly important fact...as for how could she do this if, for example, she was at the VDS home, my response is these guys are not professional criminals even if they think they are...and if drugs or booze were in heavy use as has been implied in reports, well, if sober folks can make errors in crime, drunken folks will make more...anyway, nothing about it happening seems incredulous...the one kidnapped girl out west was taken to a truckstop restaurant--isn't that fairly amazing as a mistake by the kidnapper?
