Natalee Holloway and friends in Aruba 5/30/05
Wake up girl!
You're responding to your own quote.
Bump to come back to later.
lol!!
By First Coast News Staff
ARUBA -- Investigators may have a new break in the search for a missing American teen in Aruba. A new witness has come forward with claims that he knows where Natalee Holloway's body is located.
The only information being released so far is that those descriptions are very detailed.
Meanwhile, attorneys for the three men currently being held as suspects are fighting to keep the FBI from having complete access to their files.
"Nothing new in respect to my client," said David Kock, who is representing one suspect.
"If today it's the FBI, tomorrow it will be Colombia or some other country wanting documents. This is a regular case that has been blown out of proportion," he said.
"If the rules of law are not going to be followed in any proceedings, then their client's right to a fair trial is out the door and they have to protect that," added Aruban legal expert Lincoln Gomez.
Aruba's police chief and several officers were in Philadelphia for police training this weekend.
"It is a huge case, it's a difficult case, it's a strange case and we need time," said the Aruban chief of police
It's amazing how one's memory can be refreshed is $1,000,000 is offered. I only hope that the end is near for this poor family.
Increasing the reward for safe return makes me wonder if they have received some new information. Maybe someone who knows enough to indicate that she may be alive, but not enough to help get her back. Now that is something I could get very excited about.
So do I Lucky2.
Reward for Natalee's safe return and a suppose witness that knows where her body is/was buried.
Nancy Grace is up!!
Another curious development, don't you think? I ventured, for my first time, to SM last night. In one of their threads, I believe the one theorizing that Natalee is alive, someone claimed that the bulk of the former reward money was being put up by two companies. Now I don't know if that's true but I do remember someone asking Beth where the money came from and she hesitated in a way that even at the time made me think it was odd that she didn't know or didn't want to say. Now it's up to a million thanks to an anonymous donor.
Crime Scene Investigation 101??
sw
Jug IS Natalee's STEP father. What would you have Natalee call him? This is my mother's husband? This is the second man my mother married? There is nothing derogatory about having a step father, especially a loving one.
I'm almost positive that's him, but I don't have anything to base it on except intuition.
I don't get it.
Why increase the reward for a safe return if there is witness who knows where Natalee's body is?
It don't make sense, unless the increase in the reward by the anonymous donor came about before learning of the new witness.
Susan Candiotti police is examining a statement of a gardner that was driving to someone else's house he almost swipped a car which he believes was the 3 suspects around 2:30 a.m.. Candiotti stated that it would take about 30 minutes to go from the Racquet Club to the Kalpoes home.
Nancy Grace and Candiotti is speculating that the clocks were tampered with on the computers, etc..
PVDS sent an urgent phone call to the Kalpoes the night in questioned.
T J Ward a girl informed him of a silver car that was riding in and out of the racquet club (something about the tail light is identifiable. The woman was checking on cars in and out due to this being a new subdivision.
Thanks for your input, as always.
"There is nothing derogatory about having a step father, especially a loving one."
Amen to that.
Yes it is very confusing. Why "up" the reward? To heighten the media attention that has begun to wane in the last few days? Maybe. Everything about this case has been confusing. I'm beginning to think how dumb we will feel if the answers were right under our noses all the time.
I do, unfortunately, think that Joran and the Kalpoes where with her when she died. I do think they involved PVDS after the fact. What keeps me hoping for another scenario is that it's just too hard to believe that this 17 year old kid has not cracked yet. If the new interrogation team gets results really quick we will know for sure that VanDer Straaten was trying to sweep it all under the rug and wait out the family. If he doesn't crack soon or a body is not found...well, then there's hope and a million bucks to bring it to fruition.
Jug said on my local Birmingham news tonight that the reward comes from the Natalee Holloway fund.
