Vandals are compounding the grief of a Tri-state soldier's family.

Not even 24-hours after Private First Class Tim Hines's wife and family said goodbye at his funeral, American flags that had adorned their Fairfield yard were piled beneath a car and burned....

Do you think they got the idea from wacko Fred Phelps, who goes to the funerals of homosexuals to give the families a hard time? That would be a typically hypocritical move on the part of the code pinko morons wouldn't it now?

Too bad the punks didn't have the balls to try that in front of the Soldier's family. What a bunch of gutterslugs. Part of the blame can be laid squarely at the feet of the Left, which advocates and encourages disrespect of the country and our nation's symbol. To the barking moonbats, "patriotism" is expressed through spitting on the very freedoms they take for granted. The price to ensure those freedoms were paid by Soldiers who have more dedication, honor, sense of duty, and love of country than those little miscreants will ever have the capacity to understand. I don't know who Fred Phelps is but if that's what he does, harass people's families at funerals of their loved one's, then I don't think what he does is right either.

There is NO excuse for this type of thing being done against the families of our troops. These people are giving their lives to protect all the rest of us and those who would do such a thing to the family would find no mercy from me when they are caught.

Fred Phelps, referred to elsewhere on this thread, is a sicko that protests at military funerals with his weird group of followers with signs that say "God Bless the Iraqi Sniper" and say that the soldier being buried and honored that day is in hell. He used to protest at homosexual funerals too. I think he might be a lefto in disguise.

We recently had 2 lowlifes rob the apartment of a soldier killed in the conflict..on the day of his funeral no less!

Well, the people they tried to fence the stolen goods to notified the cops when they heard about where and who these items were taken from. I beleieve they each got 25+ years. That oughtta be an easy time for them..NOT!

They'll find out who did this and I hope it is soon. Lock them up and throw the key away

I was hoping to see a post by now telling us about a car dealer who delivered a brand new auto with a big red ribbon and lots of flags on it. I wish I had the money to make that happen.

I don't believe this was done just by a bunch of drunk. Doesn't follow any pattern of the mischief that drunk kids usually do. Never heard of drunk kids burning flags under cars.

This does follow the actions of liberal anti war activists. Their type of deal is to get as much exposure as possible and lately they have been doing that by attending soldier's funerals to get notice and I think this is just an extension of their tactics. One day they will go too far and get the revolt that they want in this country. Most of these idiots have never seen real anger from the masses and when they do it will be too late for them.
