There was a news story on TV the other day. They listed like 4 things which combined have made Armstrong simply unbeatable.
1) He was born with a powerful physical advantage, including a heart bigger, more effective than the vast majority of people.
2) They said there is simply nobody in the sport who has his level of fight and determination.
3) A lot of athletes overtrain, it seems he's gotten it just right.
Can't remember what the 4th factor was.

I thought there were a couple more legs to go. Did he just win the 22nd leg or the whole race?
To: xrp
Yeah, that truly sucks. Still, better Lance than France. ;-)

Entire race. There was something about it ending early.

The planet's best athlete, bar none.
And future GOP officeholder too!
To: Luke Skyfreeper
He should give back his medal! That way the Europeans won't dislike us so much.

Since he won only one of the time trials and the team did all the heavy lifting, I'll not be celebrating his faux victory.
