The family of a Marine who was killed in Iraq is furious with Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll for showing up uninvited at his funeral this week, handing out her business card and then saying "our government" is against the war.

Come on, now. You're not really "astounded" by this, are you? This woman is a liberal. How many times did we see the Clinton administration jump up after a school shooting to use the tragic death of a child, or children, to further their anti-gun political agenda?

This is nothing particularly new, nor is it particularly surprising. It's the typical in-your-face, no virtue included liberal approach to getting what they want.

They don't care who they hurt, they just want to forward the cause. I'd be interested to see someone do a bit of research to find out if this hag was one of the anti-Vietnam war leftists who were spitting on our returning soldiers and calling them "baby-killers." It wouldn't surprise me a bit.

That was totally disgusting. You owe that family a deep, sincere apology, and done in front of television cameras and all the newspaper photographers on the planet, and then you need to resign immediately, live on the air.
