"Nothing to do but cut and run, huh? What else? What about the old American social custom of self-defense? If the police don't defend us, maybe we ought to do it ourselves."

Winner was a good friend of Charles Bronson, and directed some of his best films: Death Wish, The Stone Killer, Chato's Land, and The Mechanic.

The man knows what he is talking about.

The Muslim Council of Britain said it had received a number of phone calls from ordinary Muslims worried that the police had adopted a "shoot-to-kill" policy.

I see nothing wrong with this.....Shoot first, shoot last, shoot some more, and when in doubt, SHOOT!

If the ragheads ARE worried, they brought it on themselves. Since they condone terrorism (by their silence), then they should be VERY afraid, and continue to be afraid until they start to rid themselves of the radicals....

It's too bad that as of yet, they don't have laws in place that would enable them to go after the mullahs inciting and recruiting, and to go after the terrorist suspects BEFORE they act,and not have to wait until they're either on the brink of acting or have already acted.I hope that Blair can get some passed.
It's also too bad that the citizenry can't legally defend itself with effective force. I don't doubt that it won't be long before there's a hostage situation, and even if the law enforcement wants to negotiate(which of course they shouldn't),the terrorists aren't going to.
Not to mention that these scum are killing innocent British at their OWN EXPENSE-I mean that of the British taxpayer-one of their most notorious mullahs inciting violence and applauding the killing has been on the dole since he's been there(yes I'm watching Fox)

Yes, it is. It's also too bad that these mullahs aren't ending up dead from undisclosed "accidents".....

You almost can't blame the British people. Look at what happened to that farmer when he shot burglars who were attempting to rob him yet again. HE almost went to jail,IIRC. Actually, I need to look that up and refresh my memory, but I remember enough to know that it was a scandal, that he couldn't defend himself and his property with due force.PC run amok has left those people defenseless and at the mercy of the terrorists. They'd have to beat them with cricket bats, I suppose.

This afternoon on NPR "Most Things Ignored" (excuse me, "All Things Considered") I heard an extraordinary segment. It was an interview with a British woman who was the daughter of an "original British Bobbie" since deceased.

The whole piece was focused on "how London has changed" since the Bobbies "now carry gins" as witness the shooting of a terrorist in the London Underground yesterday. Zero mention was made in this piece of the bombings by terrorists which led to this shooting.

And people ask why we are "after Big Bird" when we try to get Congress to STOP GIVING TAXPAYER DOLLARS to this leftist, anti-American twits at NPR. (Sorry for shouting.)
