I am really creeped out by your post, a) if it is true and the dems circulate their address ahead of its broadcast, b) that they would attack the admin by using Plame in this venue, or c) if someone at DU has the skill to write such a piece for fun.
I would love to send it on to a talk show host that I am listening to right now. Victoria Toensing was one of his guests this morning.

I did not hear it anywhere. What is going on? Do they broadcast it before 10am? Are all my clocks wrong? I am getting seriously paranoid! LOL!

It means that President Bush has already fired the people who leaked the information about Valerie Plame to Bob Novak, and fired the people who were responsible for those trying to undermine him on the issue of Iraq's nuclear ambitions. Why was there so little interest by the media in Tenet's surprise resignation?

We tend to forget that in all of our wars up to and including WWII, the kind of the things that the Democrats and the Democrat controlled media are doing were OUTLAWED. They would have shut down sites like Antiwar.com, Democracy Now! and probably censored half of the articles in the MSM (and 2/3rds of the NYT).
We stopped doing this after WWII, and have not won a major war since. I don't think it is a coincidence.
There have always been traitors like Larry Johnson and Ray McGovern and Joe Wilson. In the good old days they would have been thrown into jail.
It's a very daring experiment to allow such people to be at large in a time of war. Especially since so many of them are in the media, and are so hellbent on advancing their anti-American agendas.
Now if freepers are on their tail, I have to assume the FBI is, too.

Hey. I seem to remember something about Plame's NOC still being in effect even though she wasn't really covert. Someone also mentioned that their was something odd about the document. Do you suppose someone clandestinely re-instituted her NOC, without the knowledge of Tenet? If these people would forge papers about the Niger uranium, I would bet cash money that they would forge internal CIA documents.
I could be wrong .. but I think that is because we haven't had a "declaration of war" voted on in Congress since WWII

I don't think a former declaration of war has any impact on reporting.
In any case, there was no declaration of war in the Civil War, for instance.
Lincoln would have hanged a number of these "reporters" and former "intelligence agents."

Let's not forget that the Frank Church (and John Kerry) hearings set out to gut all of the US intel agencies, most especially the CIA.
And they succeeded beautifully. The agencies never have fully recovered.
