Hey. I seem to remember something about Plame's NOC still being in effect even though she wasn't really covert. Someone also mentioned that their was something odd about the document. Do you suppose someone clandestinely re-instituted her NOC, without the knowledge of Tenet? If these people would forge papers about the Niger uranium, I would bet cash money that they would forge internal CIA documents.
I maintain that her cover was made up (homemade) even though her former supervisor vouches for it. I would also note that an alternative explanation is that the CIA did a good job burying it once they were finished with it. That's lugsoul's opinion although I am skeptical of that idea.
