WASHINGTON (AP) -- Global warming is caused primarily by humans and "nearly all climate scientists today" agree with that viewpoint, the new head of the National Academy of Sciences -- a climate scientist himself -- said Wednesday.

Let's get rid of the humans.
Science by consensus strikes again. Where's this guy's proof?
It's our fault. Of course, having the Earth located so close to the Sun doesn't help matters! We should move to a cooler part of the solar system.
LOL
I'm so confused...
Better idea....get rid of the climate scientist variety of humans....right up there with lawyers....

It is sad, but the field of science, which tragically includes JUNK SCIENCE, feeds off of making its own work for itself.
Of course the global warming nuts all deliberately forget that the world's climate has cycled from hot to ice to hot many times since it was first created -- but let's see, did they blame the first ice-age on polar bears? the first hot spell on plants? monkeys? man? - oops, there was no man -- oh, well you get the point.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there evidence of warming on Mars as well?
He don't need any proof -- he's from the UC university system and has been thoroughly indoctrinated that the US is to blame for all the wrongs of the world, including this.
well...that shoots my entire theory the whole thing was being caused by elephant farts....back to the drawing board!
Name them!
Scientists should leave climatology to politicians and freepers
pingable.
Well if that is the case, then we will need less oil to keep us warm, fewer clothes, less food, which will become more abundant as more areas become useful for crops. We can use sea water to drink and irrigate since it will naturally desalinate due to the melting of glaciers, means we can let our rivers run free, and oh, and oh, I think the garden of Eden is just around the corner. What's wrong with that? (She asks blinking blondly) Why is global warming necessarily a bad thing?
Assuming its a fact.
It's all Bush's fault.
All the hot air being emitted by these Lefties wouldn't have anything to do with so-called Global Warming, eh?
Let me see, 2/3 of the planet is water.
Less than 1 percent of the land (1/3 of the earths surface)
is occupied by humans.
The atmosphere is controlled by the the sun and water.
Yes, it all adds up. Humans are the problem.
I'll take my 10 million dollar government grant in unmarked 1000 dollar bills.
