Yes, but some of the UNAPPEASEABLES are still claiming that Roberts isn't CONSERVATIVE enough. LOL

Uh oh....W just said Roberts has a "good heart." Isn't that what Bill Clinton said last week - that the nation needs in a supreme nominee?

Dubya is giving a great pre-emptive speech, citing letters signed by respected lawyers of both parties commending Judge Roberts, describing the judge's background.

Should be an interesting summer...

Went to Harvard...came out a conservative...Harvard must wonder what they did wrong?!?!

It is said that Roberts' experience with his fellow Harvardites chanting lovingly for Ho Chi Minh caused him to veer right. I can't confirm that.

I'm wondering if the WH "leaked" the name of Clements to a select group of people to out a leaker?

I wonder which Senators were "leaked" to?

Roberts looks so proud and thrilled. This is one of the great highlights of his life.

I love the way Dubya talks:

"Judge Roberts has great respect for the rulalaw"

(Judge Roberts is kinda cute!)

He just put Leahy on the spot, said he shares W's goal to a dignified confirmation process.
