When all the names (Brown, Luttig, et al.) first were mentioned a couple of weeks ago, Roberts was my top choice. And from what I am hearing and seeing tonight, I am very pleased.

So, the real question is what in the world will Bush do for his next SCOTUS pick? I personally hope he goes a bit more to the right rather than to the left toward Gonzales.

i hate to spoil the party, but coulter was just on al rantel's radio show & is AGAINST this nomination. she's looked into his record & has is terrified he's going to be another Souter.

If they don't stand for what I believe,are they Democrats or am I dogmatist? But those that say,"Oh get back to Rove" as if it's an either and fail to think that THIS GUY IS GONNA BE ON THE COURT FOR 30 years...I guess it's not that important.

From what I have seen of the guy, he looks like a solid pick.
Bear in mind the legal briefings you file do not necessarily represent your own personal views. Seems like a decent pick, but I'll wait until I see how he actually votes before I start singing praises.
