I heard she was on a plane to DC from someone with connections to the court. I later saw on the Net a claim that she was in Wyoming on vacation. She's more elusive than Bigfoot.

A Janice Rogers-Brown nomination would electrify the nation, inspire women and minorities, and humiliate Democrats if they try to fillibuster a nominee they had formerly declared as fillibuster-proof.

"That don't mean nothing -- there's a lotta drag queens in DC!"

But I don't think Rudy is the nominee...

OK Dubya.....pick a STRONG CONSERVATIVE.... ex-Judge Roy Moore gets my vote.

Roy Moore is almost 60 (57 or 58 I believe).

He is better off finding someone who thinks like Moore but is closer to or around 50 (if its a fourty something version of Moore, even better).

I want a conservative, under 55. Strong right and in good health.

"Luttig spelled backwords is: GITTUL!"

Isn't that how Bush41 pronounces "Ghetto?"

That is who I am thinking too...I keep getting the two Ediths mixed up...Clement is the more libertarian one and Jones is the more social-conservative one?

Of course, the hard liberals like Boxer and Kennedy would likely still attempt a filibuster even if it is a suicidal one (if they aren't even close to the required votes)...
