Minister of Information Ali Younesi said that US is involved in forming networks for sabotage against Iran citing Abdul Malik terrorist networks as an example.
"We have evidences to support link between Abdul Malik terrorist group with US and Israeli intelligence services," he said.
"It is likely that US and Israeli intelligence services have infiltrated into certain terrorist networks in Arab states including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and even European states. It is not unlikely that what happened in London is from that category," Younesi said.
He said that certain extremist elements of al-Qaeda especially the financial supporters of the terrorist group are living in certain states which are so-called advocates of campaign against terrorism.
"They enjoy security in some Arab states where there are financial supporters for al-Qaeda. None of them are exposed to legal action," he said.
Younesi predicted that events similar to what happened in London may occur in some Arab states whose anti-terrorist campaign is not satisfactory for US and Israel.
Younesi said that prospects for international campaign against terrorism is not satisfactory.
"Despite US military action in Iraq and arrest of Saddam Hussein, terrorism has become stronger than before," he said.
He dismissed US claims that it had dealt heavy blow to terrorist networks and said that unfortunately, different events indicated that terrorism still is the main cause of insecurity in many nations.
Elaborating on background of al-Qaeda, he said that when the terrorist group was active in Afghanistan, it trained more than 25,000 terrorists and formed several hundred terrorist networks and sent them back to their own countries.
"Al-Qaeda is present everywhere in the world. Since then (Taliban rule in Afghanistan), many individuals have joined them. Current situation in Iraq has provided safe haven for terrorists." "Not only Iraq, but also many countries are not safe today.
International campaign against terrorism needs transparent mechanisms and legal provisions in support of the international law," Younesi said.
He said that selective approaches in international campaign against terrorism contributed to bolstering the ominous phenomenon of terrorism, citing US and European support for Israeli abduction of Palestinians as an example.
Younesi said that US and European support for terrorist Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) is another factor contributing to terrorism.
"Currently, a large portion of US Congressmen, House of Representatives and US officials have relationship with MKO and support it.
