"No one died when Clinton lied"(Bumper Sticker)

I have seen this bumper sticker on several cars while driving around in Los Angeles area: "No one died when Clinton lied".
Wait a minute...Didn't Clinton order air strikes while the investigation of his perjury was going on? Didn't people die during the bombing of the "chemical weapons factory"?

Wow, you are dense if you can't discern the difference between sleeping and getting a B.J. in the Oval Office.

Well, in fairness, whether President Bush lied or not, there have been over 1750 Americans killed and tens of thousands Iraqi civilians....I am not saying that some of those civilians weren't Godless heathens who deserved to meet their makers, but there were some children and innocent adults who had buildings land on them too. President Bush did not lie so don't be playing that game. Whether or not you agree with the war effort or not is your business but by implying that President Bush lied you desecrate the memory of our brave men and women who are over in Iraq fighting for us. Every country, as well as the useless UN, with any intelligence capacity at all said Sadamm had WMD and so did just about every democrat, at least until President Bush took office, and most democrats voted for the war as well so get off this Bush lied crap. I am so sick of that nonsense and I know I am not alone feeling that way.

When the terrorists flew the planes into the twin towers, who were they targeting? Innocent civilians. When they hide amonst women and children, they are placing them on the battle field.
It has been this way since at least 1945. You, your children, your grandmother. They are all on the battlefield. I have no problem with us trying to be surgical in our military offensives, but to become bogged down with concern for 'civilian' casualties, frankly, I could care less.

shouldn't we be thinking about them as other than "Islamofascist scum?" Once again, as a result of your denseness, you conveniently left out the word "terrorist" in fhayek's post.

"If Mr. Koresh had nothing to hide, why didn't he just let them in to serve their arrest and search warrants?" Koresh claimed ATF fired first. Koresh knew the local LE and knew the Feds were coming. He told the sheriff they could come anytime. He had (Feds IIRC) officials at the church...uh oh yeah "compound" and talked at length times before. ...and the Davidians didn't have a meth lab or shoot .50 caliber rifles at the police.

"We are in Iraq to liberate those who, presumably needed to be freed to have control over their own affairs. "That's only one facet, simpleton. The War on Terror is complex and I don't you have faculties to conceptualizes it's wider application.

I assumed from your post that you were saying that while BJ was getting a BJ people died (because he was concentrating more on his BJ therefore not paying attention to the people dying). Was this not what you were saying? To tell you the truth, alot of it could have occurred while he was staring at the sun.

If you get your info from an edited three second film clip, then yes, that's what you saw.

Listen, you are apparently new here. This site isn't about compassion. It isn't about "understanding". You can have your say, if it suits you, but (and I hope I'm not taking liberties here) but we feel that the American way of life, and/or Western Civilization are worth fighting for and preserving. This may require a little bit of political uncorrectness. Stick around, absorb, contribute (if you feel the urge), but fighting for the basic values can get messy. That just the way it is.
