Fox News' White House Wendell Goler reported tonight that Congressional Democrats have inquired with the Library of Congress whether administration officials like Karl Rove can be impeached.
This was reported with a straight face by Goler......

Why don't they just gather a mob with torches and pitchforks and storm the White House? It's what they all really want to do anyway.

God, the stupidity and the desperation are, in Upchuck Schumuh's word, "jawdropping."

This is what we pay them to do?????
I don't think I have seen Goler crack a smile very often.
How many of the Fox News Washington staff are democrats? Just curious.

I missed the part of the Constitution that authorizes Congress to impeach Assistant Chiefs of Staff. Which Article is that?
To: kristinn
Of course the logical question would not by "can", but "why". However, the liberals and democrats have never been a group to let facts get in the way.

Gee, I guess they aren't all that interested in "letting the investigation run its course" or all that happy crappy, after all.
The Dems were more willing to give Saddam and UBL the benefit of the doubt than someone who works for our country. Nice.

He's not serving in a constitutional post - he can't be impeached.

Good Lord above, these people have finally gone mad. They've been teetering on the brink, but they've finally slipped their trolly.

Some noble journalist: please measure the amount of salary, benefits, pension, X Clintoon | Shumer | Reid | Pelosi | Kennedy etc. staffs are paid, for spending 100% of their taxpayer funded time chasing the Great White Rove.

It's sad watching a once great American political institution desperately grasping for one last, or any, straw. Their grip on reality is as tenuous as their grip on power.

The Democrats who asked the Library of Congress are probably those representatives who can't read.
