It's sad watching a once great American political institution desperately grasping for one last, or any, straw. Their grip on reality is as tenuous as their grip on power.

I'm all for a "loyal opposition" - there is something to be said for keeping politicians in check, no matter who they are - but these folks have demonstrated that they are not fit to govern.
