Victory and Success Breed Contempt - Thanks Karl! - (BRAVO!....Dems going down like Rather did!)

I love a Washington feeding frenzy don't you? I mean, aren't we all glued to our seats to watch the next roasting (I mean press briefing) starring Scott McClellan?

Months and years of a tightly wound and controlled Bush White House has forced the MSM (mainstream media) to lose their collective minds over the prospect of delivering Karl Rove's head on a silver platter to their friends on the Left side of the aisle in the Beltway.

And just as the Left continues to embarrass themselves with righteous indignation over President Bush's refusal to allow them to name the next Supreme Court justice, they now have set their sights on Mr. Rove, the "architect" of the president's elections and his closest advisor.

I'm not going to go into all the details of where we are with this "investigation"; it's been covered in the blogs ad nauseum and almost without exception, incorrectly in the mainstream cable world (Chris Matthews, anyone?)

It all boils down to this: Karl Rove will not be indicted for a hangnail, much less "outing" a CIA operative and when the collective left is exposed and embarrassed by the truth of what this may really be about (Hello, New York Times?), the whole story will fade faster than George Hamilton without a sun lamp.

Therefore, the only thing we have to look forward to is how desperate our friends on the Left will become once it becomes clear that their latest attempt to injure our fearless president has failed and to wait and see what the next subject of their ire will be.

Because it's becoming increasingly clear that with every failure; two elections, a wartime president, judicial filibusters, the National Guard fiasco, Abu Grahib in Baghdad, flushing Korans at Gitmo, etc., the radical Left just moves the target and digs in for more and more and in doing so, moves them all further into political irrelevancy.

But here's the good news: We can only hope that they don't wise up before the mid-term elections and even better, Hillary's ascendancy as the next great hope from Hope via Chicago. Because if they continue to fail to graduate from lessens learned debriefings, we can all sit home and save a few bucks because we won't even have to campaign for McCain/Rice, Bush/Rice, Rice/Allen or whatever other combination we nominate, we'll win in a walk.

As they saying goes: Never interrupt an enemy when they are busy destroying themselves.

The smartest man in politics is in the center of a politically motivated and MSM media directed storm and his and the White House silence should be speaking volumes to our political foes. That they are too blinded by hatred to see it only works to his and our advantage.

Keep going I say: Chris Matthews, please foam at the mouth some more and demand more investigations, get every leftist congressman or woman on TV calling for his head and make Hillary repeat over and over again how he should be fired...please, I'm beggin' ya.

This is going to be even better than watching Dan Rather imploding his journalistic career over his blind hatred of the Bush family.

Time to get some popcorn with extra butter and enjoy the show because our friends, the mainstream media and the democrats are creating better sequels than Hollywood these days.

What more can be said---The RAT army will now move on from Rove to their next attempt to bring down President George Bush. That bears repeating, PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH. Got it RATS? You lost, Republicans won. Keep acting like the donkey that is your party symbol and we will keep winning election after election.

McCain/Rice

I'll pass on McLame, thank-you.

Rice/Allen or Allen/Rice works for me.

This piece is a digest of various FR posters thoughts and comments over the last day or so.

If you hang out here you get the real poop and the readers digest version is pretty tame.

Could minor Ambassador Joe Wilson himself have been the source in blowing his own Wife's cover?

It is distinctly possible, (though it may be unlikely that Joe Wilson himself directly was NY Times Judith Miller's source), since Joe Wilson himself evidently routinely bragged openly to strangers about her CIA employment, prior to such "cover" being "blown" in the press.

Here's an example of Joe's apparently routine and open bragging about Valerie being a "CIA agent," which became known directly to me over a year ago:

He certainly bragged about it per a famous and highly reliable source's (named below) account of his own face-to-face encounter with Amb. Joe Wilson prior to Valerie Plame's "outing" as a CIA agent/employee.

Based upon a personal conversation (we were in a small group eating; it was NOT an "off the record") I had with eminent historian Victor Davis Hanson (we were at a luncheon table together during a trip to Europe), it appeared entirely possible that Joe Wilson himself was the (or one source, if not the original one) possible source in revealing his own wife's status as a CIA agent or employee.

Victor Davis Hanson (Wilson presumably knew Victor Davis Hanson wrote regularly for NRO (National Review Online), had done OpEds for the Wall street Journal, and other publications, and had his own Website with a widespread following) said he (VDH) & Joe Wilson were both in the same "Green Room" before a televised debate-discussion on Iraq, etc. and Joe first warned the TV make-up person not to get powder on his $14,000 Rolex watch, then he bragged to Victor about several things (possessions and trips to Aspen, etc.), like his expensive car (I think it was a Mercedes), and then bragged about his beautiful ("hot") wife who, Joe Wilson said (braggingly) was a CIA operative.

I asked Victor Davis Hanson Why he didn't write up this account.(?) He replied that Joe Wilson would probably simply deny it, since only he (VDH) & Joe Wilson were in the Green Room together before the broadcast.

However, it is now easy to surmise that Joe Wilson is a crass, materialistic, self-promoting, vain, egotistical, bragaddocio-opportunist, so this account is perfectly consistent with Valerie Plame's TWO photo shoots in Vanity Fair. (Or was it Vogue? No, probably too crass for Vogue, n'est pas?)

Yes, because we get to see which "reporter" is going to show us how stupid they are. It's really amazing when they try one up the other. You can see the hate seething from their empty little brains. David Gregory (NBC) and Terry Moran (ABC) are two of the leaders of the pack. They hate President Bush so much they can't hide it.

In spite of evidence to the contrary, the accusation is serious enough to demand action.....
