We are starting to see the results of bad decisions that have been made in this country over the last 40 years or so. This country has a lot of serious problems, both financial and otherwise, that are starting to come home to roost.
Meanwhile, China is growing rapidly and are in a position to make the 21st century theirs. I think they will probably succeed. I hope I'm wrong.
Keep in mind that China has threatened to nuke us too. And more or likely on a shorter fuse. And GWB retired ALL of the MX missiles, and half our B-1Bs. And drastically minimized the protective dispersal of same...and still has Project LookingGlass sitting on the ground moribund. And has four Tridents being converted from a serious strategic weapon into tactical weapons, with cruise missiles.

The Chinese have TONS MORE SECURE, PROVISIONED, DEEP, etc. bomb shelters for a much higher percentage of it's much larger population than we begin to have.

The Chinese are intent on being top dog in the world. They'll settle in the short term for Top dog in Asia with EVERYONE else in Asia kowtowing to them.
That's the main goal of their military might regardless of noise to the contrary--world domination.

I don't know what degree how many Christians here and around the world--what degree what level of prayer and getting their Chrisitian lives together will do.
There's mixed prophetic impressions on that score.
But, I must say, the bulk--the vast majority of such inputs seems to indicate a Chinese attack on the USA aided by Russia and a list of others.
I certainly expect it, almost regardless.

Add in the bases on both ends of the Panama Canal, China can put LOTS of PLA troops in the Western USA in remarkably short time. Those container ships and containers can hold LOTS of troops.
I still ponder the dream/vision which saw Japan being coerced into joining China. Might not be coercion if it were certain parts of their culture.
In any case, supposedly, China cedes Hawaii to the Japanese in thanks for their help in attacking the USA.

I think Congress--especially the Senate--deserves to be saved THE LEAST.
Also, as best as I can recall, I think Beijing has shelters for AT LEAST 80% of their population--well stocked.
It depends on lots of things.
Certainly key parts of the military in control of their arms would be sufficient.
And, Nationalism is a fairly saleable item in China as you should have noticed.
Lots of people have various kinds and levels of affection for the USA. But for our government or in the face of perceived threat or a list of perceived insults, slights, hazards etc. . . many would also quickly jump on the bandwagon of attacking the USA. Especially in terms of Taiwan.
