Not quite, peach, but close.... Wolfie asked Wilson if his wife was a covert operative at the time of the Novak article and Wilson stammered out a "no comment".

Of course, that begs the question - if Wilson truly believes his wife was "outed" two years ago, why can't he confirm or deny that she was, in fact, a covert cia operative at the time of the Novak article? This is smelling more and more like a calculated attempt at a Bush smear by two Kerry supporters, Wilson and wife Plame, and they got CAUGHT.

This is not Bush's problem, and not Rove's problem. It's a Wilson/Plame problem.

D.

Well when does the NYT release the early copies of their paper?

It sounds like it is going to be tomorrows headlines.

One of the reasons I installed MSFT SP2. That has blocked ALL pop ups for me. His site was one of the worst.

That is right. Average folks don't give a rats ass about this. Democrats have to turn up the volume if they expect to get anywhere. It is because they know that the general public is not paying attention right now, that they can lie all they want until they have something that the public will pay attention to.

Wilson liked containment of Iraq because he didn't want to 'expose U.S. military and Iraqi civilians and soldiers to the retaliation with biological and chemical weapons that an invasion of Iraq may well provoke

B.S. - Wilson didn't want to see us go to war with Iraq because his business dealings were all tied to the Middle East. Read this:What Wilson Didn't Say about Africa and his silent partners

Normally around midnight I believe. Drudge could have an 'exclusive' prior to that perhaps.

Lucy Ramirez at it again?

Yes, that's it. Lucy Ramirez got it from Jimmy Hoffa who ran down the Grassy Knoll and tripped just before he gave it to Dan Rather.

I think he is assuming Cooper told the truth. I myself wouldn't count on it.

I can't imagine that any halfway competent attorney would ever make such a definitive statement about a (presumably) hostile witness's testimony, based on second-hand information from the witness's attorney. And so far Luskin strikes me as being very, very good. Maybe Fitzgerald's allowing all parties' counsel to attend as a courtesy.

If that's the case...I hope Luskin doesn't believe anything Cooper's lawyer tells him.......I don't even think Cooper's lawyer is allowed in the GJ room when he is testifying...I think a witness is allowed to stop the questioning and go outside and consult his attorney...correct me if Im wrong......so what Cooper says in the jury room and on the courthouse steps are probably two entirely different things.

the way for it to end, is for Fitzgerald to put up or shut up.

I cannot imagine this investigation has gone on this long. It should have been wrapped up in three months at most. Every time we have a SP they seem to do just this. And then they come up with nothing in the end. What a waste of our money.

My prediction: a lame story about a "Wilson file" at the White House.
