Phillip Atwood and Patrick Martin firefighters from Kansas City who have been awarded the Public Safety Medal of Valor along with some of their other colleagues The men are being recognized for helping to save paramedic Mary Seymour, who was shot by a sniper during a standoff on Feb. 23, 2004. Police, firefighters and paramedics were responding to reports of an explosion and came under heavy fire shortly after arriving at the scene. The Medal of Valor is the highest award a civilian can receive from the federal government

Bad news....on August 9th, I will be taking The White House Tour :D !!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait !!! And on August 8th we taking a tour of the capital too. So I can't wait....only 23 more days until I leave :D !!!
