Last Friday night, July 8, around 8:14 p.m. I happened during the commercial break at WABC to turn the dial to WLIB 1190 kHz the Air Amerika flagship station and hear this fuming, screaching female voice ranting and spewing venom. I was curious who is it about. Didn't have to wait too long. Turned out that it was Jeanine Garogfalo taking off at Ben Stein, calling him names, among other things also "this pr1ck..." Wow! That was a new one on the radio for me. I was just wondering if this is FCC "allowed" expression and if they have a license to curse and use any words they like on the air.

I have not seen anyone mentioning it (who listens to Air Amerika!) but it striked me that perhaps this is off the limits and maybe FCC would be interested in this violation. Even our "smartest woman on Earth" sen. Clinton is crusading for cleanup of airwaves and media for the sake of our children.

Should this be reported to FCC?

Ben Stein has an undergrad degree in econ, as well as a law degree. Garofalo... reads 'The Economist.' Ben Stein's bit parts on TV shows are more memorable than her biggest roles.

People competed to win Stein's money on his TV show. People compete to stay awake for the entire three hour duration of Garofalo's radio show.

Stein is a comedian who has the knowledge and skills to make concise, rational, and compelling arguments. Garofalo constantly refers to herself (at least she used to) as an "enlightened intellectual" when she realizes she can't defend whatever claim it is that she's arguing.

In short, she's probably mad because he's intelligent, well-spoken, professional, articulate, and successful -- everything she's not.

I have always thought that liberals remind me of a spoiled brat kid more than anything else. "MAAAAAAMA, Janey won't let me ride her tricycle WAAAAHHHH, I'm gonna hold my breath till I turn blue WAAAHHH, Janey won't let me have a turn WAAAHHH!!!!."
