Psalm 5:8

Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness
       because of my enemies-
make straight your way before me.

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for another day of life filled with Your blessings and we ask for Your guidance in the day ahead. Bless those who serve You through prayer and devotion; be gracious to those who minister to the least of these Your children; embolden those who preach and teach Your Word.

Lord, we are ever mindful of the great sacrifice You made in sending Your precious Son to take our sins upon Himself at Calvary. Your amazing grace and Your boundless love bring us to our very knees before You. Accept our humble praise, O Lord, and use us to Your glory.

Father, it is sad, indeed even pitiful, to see people so consumed with hatred that they never seem happy and that they never seem to be able to find any good in anything or anyone. And yet it is people like that who are constantly slinging their arrows of vitriol and deceit at our President. Lord, we thank You for the patience and restraint that he has shown and ask that You continue to lead him in Your righteousness. Shine Your light upon his path that he may not stray from Your will for him, both in his personal life and in his leadership of our country. Grant him wisdom, strength, courage, perception, faith, and joy that he may fulfill Your purposes for him. Bless Laura, Jenna, and Barbara as they travel abroad and bring them home safely. Watch over all the First Family and shield them from harm.

We continue in prayer for the victims of the bombings in London and for all the other victims of terrorists worldwide. Lead our military and the troops of other nations as they seek out these destructive forces and bring them to justice. Be their defender as they seek to bring liberty to people who have lived under oppression for so long.

Father, though we are distressed to see evil seeming to take foothold in so many ways in our nation, we know that it is temporary. We know that You have already won the victory and that Your Kingdom will reign forever and ever. We praise You, O Lord, and are joyful that we reside in the hope offered through the blood of Jesus, in Whose Name we pray. Amen.

AMEN KAYAK!

GRACE TO ALL BRETHREN!

Isaiah 40:28
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

Isaiah 40:29
He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.

Isaiah 40:30
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,

Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
(NKJV)

"Sanctified by God the Father."
- Jude 1

"Sanctified in Christ Jesus."
- 1 Corinthians 1:2
"Through sanctification of the Spirit."
- 1 Peter 1:2

Mark the union of the Three Divine Persons in all their gracious acts. How
unwisely do those believers talk who make preferences in the Persons of
the Trinity; who think of Jesus as if he were the embodiment of everything
lovely and gracious, while the Father they regard as severely just, but
destitute of kindness. Equally wrong are those who magnify the decree of
the Father, and the atonement of the Son, so as to depreciate the work of
the Spirit. In deeds of grace none of the Persons of the Trinity act apart
from the rest. They are as united in their deeds as in their essence. In
their love towards the chosen they are one, and in the actions which flow
from that great central source they are still undivided. Specially notice
this in the matter of sanctification. While we may without mistake speak
of sanctification as the work of the Spirit, yet we must take heed that we
do not view it as if the Father and the Son had no part therein. It is
correct to speak of sanctification as the work of the Father, of the Son,
and of the Spirit. Still doth Jehovah say, "Let us make man in our own
image after our likeness," and thus we are "his workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we
should walk in them." See the value which God sets upon real holiness,
since the Three Persons in the Trinity are represented as co-working to
produce a Church without "spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing." And you,
believer, as the follower of Christ, must also set a high value on
holiness-upon purity of life and godliness of conversation.
Value the blood of Christ as the foundation of your hope, but never speak
disparagingly of the work of the Spirit which is your meetness for the
inheritance of the saints in light.
This day let us so live as to manifest the work of the Triune God in us.

Father, Your Word tells us that those who hate You will also hate us. We ask You to help our President to be still and know that You are God, casting his burdens upon You, remaining confident in Your promise to never leave him or forsake him. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Amen, Kayak

In accordance with the requests of the Presidential prayer team, we pray for our President and his team who continue to develop America's response and preparedness against future attacks. We pray that all Americans will be safeguarded, and ask You, Father, to guide those involved with our security with Your wisdom and help. We pray also that the firm resolve of the nations of the world will serve as a discouragement to those who plot terror, and we ask You, God,to foil their plans.

We give You thanks for progress made in the investigation of the attacks, and ask You to guide the process so that terror attacks can be prosecuted. We pray that terror attacks will stop around the world.

Thank You again, Lord, for giving Israel favor with our nation and for pouring out Your Spirit on us to bring millions to Your throne.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Oh Lord our Lord how majestic is your name in all the earth. The eyes of the Lord roam to and fro over the entire earth to strongly support those whose hearts are stayed upon Him. May the Lord bless and guide you and President Bush! Your prayer was a blessing and an encouragement for me.
