Natalee was taken, raped (probably repeatedly), murdered, and her body was dumped at sea - after this long, it will NEVER be found. Due to Aruba (Dutch) law, without a body the killer cannot be convicted. Those responsible WILL one day have to face Ultimate Justice and Judgement, though.

It is a tragedy for her family and friends, and my prayers are with them. However, aren't there more important things for the average US citizen to be concerned with?

Eminent Domain abuse, SCOTUS appointments, and thwarting terrorism are far more important that one young lady WE WILL NEVER FIND!

Give it a rest, already.

Actually most places it is more difficult to discover who killed someone and gain a conviction without a body. There is at least one example in the Netherlands of a murder conviction without a body, but heck no reason to have facts on one of these threads.

BTW, remind me, exactly home many days after the murder of Lacy Peterson was Scott Peterson walking around free? They have jailed a suspect with little evidence in this case. They seem ahead of the CA authorities, but do they have the right guy?

That may be true, but if it were my kid, I would be grateful for people to be discussing it, so that maybe things would get improved in the future (out of sight, out of mind, doesn't get things done).

I know you're just being disruptive, but why shouldn't we care about just one young lady? Surely you don't mean that eminent domain issues are more important then the life of someone? or the fact that a foreign government is helping cover up where the body of one of our citizen's is located? Has a SCOTUS appointment been made? (I can't believe I would miss that) so really, all we're doing is armchair quarterbacking on that subject. And I'm sure I could make a point about terrorism taking human life--and uh---isn't that what we're talking about on a smaller scale? But if you think there are other things more important, then by all means, go post on those threads!

Please don't be mean spirited. If you are not interested, don't participate. FR is filled with many very intelligent people I'd want in my corner if I had a serious problem. To me, it is amazing that any question you can possibly think of, someone has the answer. So just move along and leave everyone alone. Take your bad mood out on someone else.

Simple solution. Never visit Aruba. Destroy their arrogant economy.

If that were my daughter there WOULD be another murder.

Hmm are you with the thought police, is it up to you to decide how we should spend our time? Are your priorities better than mine? People learn by doing, by discussing, by communicating, maybe you could learn something too, I certainly have.
