One of the sites I looked at weeks ago mentioned that drug smuggling boats dock over by the lighthouse, in the wee morning hours using it as a guide for where to moor.
It's possible that Natalee was taken there and handed over/sold. It's also possible that they missed the boat that night and had to take her back to the Sloot's home until the following night.
Maybe Sloot wasn't home when the Twitty's arrived at the Sloot home and was sent on the wild goose chase to the casino. Maybe Sloot was at the lighthouse and had returned home prior to the Twitty's getting back to the Sloot home.
Imho I believe that the phone message that Charles Croes listened to several times was a non-starter. I believe that it was a jumped conclusion that it was Natalee under the circumstances. That phone call was not to Beth or any family member of Natalee's, but to another student that was returning from Aruba.
The reason I say that is postings from one of the other MB students that is aware of the recorded message or a misdirected call.

It sounded to me like there were people speaking a different language in the background and near the end it sounded like someone said "get off my phone" or "are you on my phone?" or something. The main reason I don't think it was Nat, though, is that I don't think she would have called this person... he even said he didn't think she would even know his number. (We have a phone directory at Mtn. It doesn't make sense that she would call this person when she had her friends' cell phone numbers and knew they had it on them. She couldn't have aclled from her phone, why would she know his number by heart?

It might have been from someone on the other plane that dialed it accidently... I get those calls all the time with messages that dont make sense b/c it's just an accidental call. It was received when we were on our way home on the bus from Atlanta... it was at night, not that morning.

Turned out to be a false alarm sarasota. I am not up on the outcome but it appears that it was concrete in a barrel that was buried either halfway or totally in the ocean near or in front of the Marriott Hotel.

He needed them to get her TO the beach. They may have known the reason or not. Thye may have thought they were going to score and when they found out they weren't, they could have left him. I have even wondered if one of the Kalpoe's might have given Sloot his alledged black eye.

Does anyone think the reason that Natalee has not been found yet is because she is alive and off the island or on the island but alive?? Any chance what so ever?

There is no need to beat Urine into talking. The Aruban government must bend their rules here and make Urine "volunteer" to take a polygraph under some guise, ie national security or whatever. Then we can put away this monster for life.

That thought always comes to my mind BUT the words
"no body, no crime" comes to mind. If she was shipped off the island I don't think it would have been said like that. But who knows if that wasn't said deliberately. When dealing w/liars who knows what their words/lies mean.

FBI is there at invitation of Authorities, and asked for access to materials and evidence on the case to review and have been DENIED access by Aruban LE
FBI gave advice how to interview Joran, and it has not been utilized.
