Mountain Brook High School graduate Natalee Holloway went missing May 30 during a senior trip to Aruba. AP photo
That was Dash over at SM.
It depends. When I was in college (the early 70s), I was Natalee's size. Went to a party one night where the local hickey team had played a Canadian team. A Canadian hockey player came up to me and started hitting me on the back--hard. Being young and naive then, and with a date who wanted to be accepted by the hockey team, I didn't say anything and neither did anyone else. Finally, a professor's wife came up and told him to stop beating me! Here's the thing. It depends on how one sees a situation. No one else present thought anything untoward was happening. One woman thought I was being beaten and I was too shy to speak up for myself. Had I disappeared that night, fellow party-goer memories of that event would have been all over the board. Conclusion: sounds like something may have heppened, but it's hard to know what. It depends on the perceptions of the viewer.
Agreed. Same thing with her eyes. Remember that couple from Michigan that saw her. The woman said she saw Natalee snorkeling that earlier that day and that she couldn't believe she was stil awake. Maybe she was just tired and not drugged.
I think aruban LE, for whatever reason, have mixed the stories together. Why are they even giving this info out? They have their reasons. The whole system seems pretty convoluted to me.
That is what I think, he hit her in the car. She bled. Satish and Deepak had to wash the blood out that night. They saw it, nobody else.
Did you look over that site? It's about voices that come out of a coffeepot...?!
Laugh - it's really pretty bizarre..
On Fox now, an announcer said the news can come at any time now before or after 2pm EST.
I agree, this is very hard to believe. It is coming out far too late to be credible.
Wasn't sure if my buddy, WCG, was on your ping list. So just to be on the safe side, WCG, ya might get a double ping!
Yup. I find bizarre interesting. Never know what you'll find.
:)
We can't know yet. That's the point.
One of my favorite sayings is 'you never know unless you ask'.
Thus, she may remain an unsolved mystery forever, or the exposure may help someone in the future.
I think the brothers are the witnesses, too, and it makes me wonder what else they've told. I also think their mother knows everything.
I know this guy who is always making a fist and sort of whopping me on the arm,,it is affectionate, not the least intimidating and is just his habit. It sort of bothers me, like he really wants to slug me, but is just his way. I wonder if that is what Joran did. If he threatened or hit her in any way in that C and C hell would have broken loose and he would not have gotten in ten feet of her.
He hit her in the car is my thought and I am sticking with it. One of the Kalpoes talked in my opinion.
OR suppose she didn't want to take it with her?
IF the med Beth was speaking of, was indeed her inhaler, then there was at least another one left in her room. She either had another one with her, or she didn't?
sw
The Twitty's should hire Mark Fuehrman to investigate the case. He'd do it, and he'd finger her killers and possibly find N's remains, or at least where they were dumped at sea.
Word is that Joran punched Natalee in the face. That doesn't sound like horseplay.
They have detectives. furman may be too high profile on that island. But a good idea.
Actually, that's a possibility. My daughter has three inhalers, all of which work a little differently. And she rarely needs to use them. So Natalee could have left one behind and carried one with her. Beth probably knows, although I don't always know how my daughter manages her inhalers.
I believe awareness helps us be safe.
My wife is Filipino, and I haven't visited the Phillipines yet. One reason is that she let me know that there are some possible terrorist training sites between Manila and her home (I hope to go there in the future (her home - lol)).
Anyway, if there's danger to our kids in a foreign land, I'm glad to see it publicized, and to see that others have care and concern.
