Another Twist in Holloway Disappearance
Ala. Teen's Mom: Men 'Know What Happened' (Natalee Holloway)
Natalee's body found... (false report)
Did they find that missing little black girl in Washington D.C. yet?
I don't know Graybeard58.
Natalee was taken, raped (probably repeatedly), murdered, and her body was dumped at sea - after this long, it will NEVER be found. Due to Aruba (Dutch) law, without a body the killer cannot be convicted. Those responsible WILL one day have to face Ultimate Justice and Judgement, though.
It is a tragedy for her family and friends, and my prayers are with them. However, aren't there more important things for the average US citizen to be concerned with?
Eminent Domain abuse, SCOTUS appointments, and thwarting terrorism are far more important that one young lady WE WILL NEVER FIND!
Give it a rest, already.
Actually most places it is more difficult to discover who killed someone and gain a conviction without a body. There is at least one example in the Netherlands of a murder conviction without a body, but heck no reason to have facts on one of these threads.
BTW, remind me, exactly home many days after the murder of Lacy Peterson was Scott Peterson walking around free? They have jailed a suspect with little evidence in this case. They seem ahead of the CA authorities, but do they have the right guy?
That may be true, but if it were my kid, I would be grateful for people to be discussing it, so that maybe things would get improved in the future (out of sight, out of mind, doesn't get things done).
You must be interested, you stuck your head in. Next time just scrool on by. We are not interested in you, thats for sure.
IIRC, the case of conviction w/o a body occurred because the perp confessed. I heard about the case you speak of on FoxNews a week or so ago in an interview with a Dutch lawyer. The suspect in Natalee's case certainly is not going to confess.
I don't recall how long it was exactly the Peterson was walking around after killing Lacy.. but 62 days seems to ring a bell. However, cold, land-locked SF Bay is entirely different from warm, tropical Aruba. A body will degrade much quicker in 80 degree water than it will in 60 degree water; the ocean off Aruba gets really deep really quick; and there is much more marine life in tropical waters than there is in SF Bay - meaning that the remains have most likely been eaten.
As to the jailed suspect, the law there allows them to keep a person in jail almost indefinitely if there is a flight risk, while the investigation is ongoing.
I know you're just being disruptive, but why shouldn't we care about just one young lady? Surely you don't mean that eminent domain issues are more important then the life of someone? or the fact that a foreign government is helping cover up where the body of one of our citizen's is located? Has a SCOTUS appointment been made? (I can't believe I would miss that) so really, all we're doing is armchair quarterbacking on that subject. And I'm sure I could make a point about terrorism taking human life--and uh---isn't that what we're talking about on a smaller scale? But if you think there are other things more important, then by all means, go post on those threads!
I stuck my head in to see who was weeping and wailing today, and to see who would be calling for the suspects head without evidence.
As I expected, I find a sheeple tied up with this unimportant matter - buying into the press accounts of this non-story so they don't have to concern themselves with more important issues.
The moral of THIS story: Parents, don't let your pretty young girls leave the country on a senior trip - it just might be their last trip anywhere.
This is my last response to you which you may consider a non-response.
Thank you kcvl. I pray that it is over soon for Natalee's family and love ones.
And when you leave the country, you leave your rights behind.
Here's the rest of my post. I don't know why it didn't show up in #16:
Let's care about the other 857,000 reported missing every year too.
Let's focus for a while on the poor child missing from St. Louis, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston etc. Nah, that wouldn't boost the ratings or sell advertizing would it?
Natalle will be the focus until the next pretty white girl comes up missing.
And just what have they done???
Weep and gnash teeth in FR threads? Come on!
"clee1 (We use 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile, and 2 to pull a trigger. I'm lazy and I'm tired of smiling.)"
Says it all!
My tag line says one of the more important things in life.
It will be there until Matt comes home.
