I googled it and got nothing. You have a link?
I'll find one for ya.....it's basicly a challenge for all riflemen to try.
20 rounds
20 seconds
20 inch group
1000 yards
No machine rest guns, can be fire from a sand bag or bipod etc w/ a scope off a bench or prone.
Can ya do it.....I'm about 6000 rounds into my learning the trick with the 6.5 Grendel on an HBAR flat top w/ a free floating dront handguard, harris bipod and a J stock w/ and accupod and a fixed power chuck of leaupolds best glass in size 16X...........It's a bitch ! Gotta learn to walk that first cold round , wind, mirage etc etc.....
What do ya think ?
Here's more......gotta read it all it's spread throughout the entire page.....

.50 AE is a lot hotter. I'd love to have an MP-5/10, but the Feebies would get annoyed with me if I attempted ownership thanks to Poppy Bush's Executive Order. I won't own a Glock, but my Witness 10mm is veddy nice.
I think I can't do 20 rounds in 20 minute into 12" at 600 with a M-14. (That is shooting clean 200-*X) There is no way I can do what you are talking about.
I have the same opinion of S&W Auto's.....I have one of the old chopped and customized ASP's long ago built up from a S&W39 and that's the lone S&W automatic in my safe....I like S&W Automatics about as well as you like glocks.....:o)
All anout confidence and the way a firearm fits the individual shooter. I personally have to giggle at folks who won't shoot a plastic gun and then they are carrying a Kahr or a Walther/SW Clone etc.... It's about tastes in firearms per each individual IMHO.
As a proud member of the gun of the month club I have a few versions of assorted glocks. They have all served me well in duty and for plinking and self defense carry. But I understand some folks dislike for the combat tupperware. I personally was takin in initially by lying gun rag writers who some of which... regularly write about how good something shoots etc and when one investigates further they discover than the writer was given a non firing prototype which he gives pics and ballistic data etc etc.
Read an article once, called the manufacturer about the product and said we wanted to order a couple to test to destruction. They'd laugh and say they don't have a firing model yet. But when asked about the article in the gun rag from a famous writer (in gun rag circles anyway) they'd just laugh and say the guy didn't get a real version from them ?!?!?!?
I have pretty much deduced that a lot of glocks woes are mythical, they are what I refer to as a working gun that can stand much more abuse than a BBQ gun all pimped out. I don't like the triggers...they remind me of the old rubber tipped dart guns we used to have as a kid, Ya shove the dart down the muzzle till it clicks and pull the trigger.......SPOING was the noise then and now with the glock triggers when dry fired.
I use what I like and respect such for others.... I know one cop that carries a Jennings 9MM as a backup and swears by it......he's got thousands of rounds through it and has to qualify with it regularly. It's held up fine. I wouldn't use a Jennings as a boat anchor but he loves his and it works well for him.....go figure ?;O)
Anyway....enjoy, thanks for the 50AE info.....Stay safe !
Note it's a 20 inch "group".......doesn't have to be all X ring......:o)
Cover a barn wall with butcherpaper and let fly....ya get a 20 inch group ya win !
As ya read at the link...it's just bragging rights as worlds best rifleman. I don't think that's a fair title as I can "learn" this 20x20x20 @ 1000 trick but can I shoot uphill at dusk at 8000 fet MSL after a 4 hour stalk on a bull elk ? Can I snap shoot on three different threats and different ranges under fire ?
Lots more to the best rifleman title than this exercise in reloading ammunition for days on end.......:o)
Stay safe !
My big problem with the drastic plastic is the four miles of trigger pull and the fact that they just feel top heavy. Like there isn't enough weight in the frame to fit good in my hand. Having oversized paws (typical size 12/X-large gloves don't fit), I need something substantial to hang on to. A DEagle fits perfect. One of the chief complaints about the Witness, that I've read, is that the grip is too big. Not for me it ain't. ;-) Also, it's a tad on the "over engineered" beefy side and it actually shoots cleaner with full house loads in it.
Kinda boils down to the old maxim of carry what you shoot and shoot what you like. I prefer my 10mm now, but there are still all kinds of guns out there I haven't had a chance to shoot yet...
Yet... ;-)
Given that Ohio recently passed concealed-carry for it's citizens, you can bet everything in your gun safe that the grabbers will point to the resulting drop in violent crime as being a direct result of their local AWB. These bastards are positively diabolical.
Agree.... My hand is "wide" (for better swimmin) thus my 1911A1's have the Smith Alexander Mag well, mainspring housing that makes the grip "longer" to keep the heel of the weapon from biting me in the palm. I use a SIG220 and the Glock 21 for the same reasons.
I packed the 1911A1 as a reserve deputy till I retired from the military and hired on full time and then carried my SIG 220 as it met some department rules for full time paid deputies. Later we were issued Glock 40's and I was given permission to go to a Glock 21 w/ gives me 14 rounds of 45ACP w/ one in the tube and the long grip and yada yada yada.....
BTW that Mod 19 is now a antique....S&W quit making em last month...... they are sweet !
Stay safe !
I am in the middle of processing 5000 rounds of 223 OFB. It seems endless. I am forcing myself to finish before I start shooting it. I will be ready when fall gets here.
Hopefully a progressive press.....:o)
I have a 550B. I had a 650 with casefeed but sold it. I am regreting that.
I'm just getting started with reloading. Got a RCBS Rockchucker and various carbide dies for the calibers I shoot off E-bay. It'd take me forever to do 5000 rounds. My back hurts just thinking about it.
What was once a very nice city, is rapidly destroying itself. All of the big ticket development is in outlying counties.
It's on my Wish List. ;-)
