Hell, I've been working on political campaigns since I was a teen and that's a very long time ago.
And like you, I don't recognize the nic.
We should, indeed, have a thread dedicated to all of old timers, who have continuously posted ( as opposed to those who post every three years and then go and hide some more ), with the same nic. :-)

What? A leak? Who leaked this? Shouldn't they resign, or be in prison, or be deported to France or something? I hope Teddy is on this, as we all know how upset the left gets about leaks!
ROFLOL! This is getting fun around here -- got fed up with the D&G's and decided we all should have some fun since they were always on the attack. I can truthfully say that I owe it to Rush who called the doom and gloomers liberals -- I figured I would shorten doom and gloomers to d&g's to bug the liberals on here even more.
It makes sense because the Conservatives I know are pretty upbeat for the most part not the d&g's we see on here. We have had some threads on here that I have laughed so hard that tears were running down my cheeks and my kids thought I was cracking up. Usually you two are part of those threads along with a lot of other Conservative Republicans! :)
The Democrats who met with President Bush this morning "leaked" the names of their choices for candidate for the Supreme Court to the press, even after they said they wouldn't.
Shouldn't we have a special counsel about that?

A better question might be why do you get a warm and fuzzy feeling at just the anticipation of that happening?
Do you want us all to pretend that you've support the president all this time?
Well, I am sure over the years you are both familiar with my theory about people like this: got blackballed from a social club or a sorority in college and hasn't gotten over it.
