Yes it is early - considering the hospital is an hour away :)

God Bless the doctor - he scheduled the surgery around my schedule (an the OR availability). He was ready to do it tomorrow afternoon, but when I couldn't reach my husband right away, he offered to see if he could do it Friday to give us more time to coordinate, when I told him my husband is off on Friday, his attitude was that was when he would do it and then no one had to lose a day's work.

I was so impressed with the willingness to work with the patients, as opposed to what I have always been used to, which is arrogance and a "you will do it on my schedule" attitude.

I do better when I don't have an assignment--but I am going to have fun with this one. At least we have some time to be thinking about it....and thinking....and thinking.....

Oh, that's cute! A patriotic bear. I have snatched him up and stored him in my "bear" folder. Thanks, Mrs.Nooseman.

deadhead Louie, have you ever had a problem with AOL, trying to save a graphic, and it will only save as an .art or .bmp -

Sure have.

HOW TO FIX:
If you're using Internet Explorer:
Click 'tools'
Click Internet Options'
In the pop-up box click
Delete Files....then click Delete History'

This should take care of the prob, it works for me. What happens is.....you've probably saved a bmp thinking it was a gif and didn't notice at the time.Next thing you know, AOL starts saving as ART and BMP files. It saves it to your latest cache. Try saving a gif after you've cleared your cache to make sure this worked. It always does for me.

Sounds like you have a great surgeon!

You are blessed to have gotten a surgeon that is willing to work with you and not demanding you working around his schedule.

My plants are VERY thirsty .. later

Thankfully we actually got a good downpour overnight, and so I don't have to worry about that for a few days :)

Both my husband and I have been astounded with how the medical community works around here - they actually SPEAK to one another.

You are right, I have been blessed in the medical professionals I have had to deal with this past week.

You have a broken foot? Geez, what a bummer. : (

Guess wolfie will have to stop chasing you for awhile. : )

Er....you still have two good feet, eh, dutchess?

They'd better have running shoes on them. Wolfie loves a challenge. : )
