Hi ~ I wanted to let you know that my dear sister, Tammy, passed away unexpectedly on June 30th. She had gastric bypass surgery on June 27, came home from the hospital on June 29th and passed away in the early morning hours of June 30th.
I'm not exactly sure of Tammy's username (something like "texaswarriorprincess") Tammy often talked about her involvement in this site and our family felt we should notify you of her death.
We lost our Dad in October, 2004. I know Tammy shared the news w/ you of my Dad voting prior to his death. He voted from the back of an ambulance while in hospice care.
We are shocked and deeply saddened by her sudden death. She is survived by our Mom, 2 sisters, one brother, and her two daughters.
Please pray for our family.
I am late with the condolences, I missed this thread. I am truly saddened for you and your family. My deepest sympathies.
What a wonderful lady and special FReeper.
Prayers for your family.
Prayers for you and your family.
Prayers on the way.
The ping you requested, my dear one
Praying right now
Love always
My estranged wife was contemplating it; thank God she was talked out of it. If only your sister had been, too.
May she rest in peace.
THanks for the ping, dl.
Prayers offered, texanforbush. God bless you and your family.
I just saw this tonight. I am at a loss and can only offer my sincerest prayers for your family. Thank you for sharing Tammy with us, to you and her children as well. She was wonderful, a delight to see on the boards. She shared much with us and will be sorely missed.
Please accept my condolences. Calling all angels......God bless Tammy and her family.

I agree with the assessment that this forum can be very spirit filled from time to time. What a collection of beautiful souls who hang out here and share their wisdom and love with all of us.
Texanforbush, please accept my very belated condolences. My prayers are offered for you and your family and all the ones who love your sister and whom she loved.
I read the memorial wall occasionally and your sister's homepage brought tears to my eyes. I am sorry this is so late, but I am even more sorry for your loss - she was a beautiful woman. The quote that she posted, from Teddy Roosevelt, was quoted or posted at some point by BMC - also on the memorial wall - a battalion chief with the FDNY, lost on September 11. My heart goes out to you as do my prayers.

I just learned of her passing. I'm completely shocked and have yet to even gather my thoughts.
I give my condolences and prayers, ever, for her family and friends to cope with the loss, even as time passes.
The manner in which I came to know her was memorable and the private mail was a treat. She left a lasting impression. She will be missed. She won the race. She will rest forever peacefully.
Amazing...
I was just thinking ... it's been almost a year since this thread was posted ... And it's been over a year since Tammy passed away.
Time passes so fast.
