Hi ~ I wanted to let you know that my dear sister, Tammy, passed away unexpectedly on June 30th. She had gastric bypass surgery on June 27, came home from the hospital on June 29th and passed away in the early morning hours of June 30th.
I'm not exactly sure of Tammy's username (something like "texaswarriorprincess") Tammy often talked about her involvement in this site and our family felt we should notify you of her death.
We lost our Dad in October, 2004. I know Tammy shared the news w/ you of my Dad voting prior to his death. He voted from the back of an ambulance while in hospice care.
We are shocked and deeply saddened by her sudden death. She is survived by our Mom, 2 sisters, one brother, and her two daughters.
Please pray for our family.
God be with your family as you face the loss of your dear sister while still healing from losing your father. I pray He will draw you together, bringing comfort and peace only He can afford.
I am truly sorry to hear of her death. There are too few who actively live the better way.
To TexanForBush: Thank you for logging on to tell us of her passing. That shows an awesome heart on her behalf.
My condolences are with all of you and you will be in my prayers.
So tragic .. I think we all remember the story of your Dad's determination in voting, and she was so proud of him. Prayers and peace to you and your family. May Our Dear Lord comfort you with the peace beyond understanding ... your sister surely knows that peace right now.
I am so sorry to hear she has passed. I will pray for her family. May the love of our Lord be on her family and His peace and strength surround all who mourn her passing.
Waryone
I remember her.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon her.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
Amen.
I am so very sorry for your (and our) loss. May she RIP and may God comfort you who she left behind.
Prayers to your family. I also remember the posts concerning your father and his determination to vote...very inspirational. Your sister will be missed very much here as her faith and beliefs were strong. May our Lord give comfort.
Our Dearly Departed have their own blog spots in Heaven. How do I come to understand this? It's because some Bible translations have Jesus saying, "In my Father's house, there are many 'ROOMS'." Thus, Jesus had to be talking about blogging on computers in Heaven...right?
Come on, think about it. He even taught us that in the Our Father at the very end it says, "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us some e-mail."

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me.
2
In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be.
4
Where (I) am going you know the way."

Correct me if I'm wrong.
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, (for) the old order has passed away."
Prayers and condolences. Thanks for letting us know. She was well liked and respected here, as I'm sure she was offline too! The more posts you see - and they will grow - the more you can be comforted with just how special she was, and is.
So sorry for your loss!
Prayers up for all of you. May the Lord receive her in his love.
This is dreadful. I am so terribly sorry to hear of Tammy's passing at such a young age. I got to know her on the AI thread this year, and her posts were always kind and generous, as well as intelligent and interesting. I hope you know she will be deeply missed here. My most sincere sympathy to you and your whole family, and especially her daughters. ((((Hugs!)))) to all of you!!
She had a true and loving heart.
Life is not fair, as I well know, having lost a young son myself a few years back.
As we grieve, we cling to our faith in Jesus Christ, who gives us the solid hope of our ultimate family reunion as Christians and a happy ending regardless of the pain we endure on earth.
May God bless and comfort you and your family in this time of your great loss.
When people ask "Where is God at a time like this?," I simply point to the many loving friends around you. He is in the hearts of these people, speaking to you, as this thread confirms.
I know how you feel Jonny and the awful thing is I must admit I had not noticed she had not posted for a few days.
I last contact I had with her personally by freep mail was a request to design a personal birthday card for you. She was always so thoughtful and caring I will miss her though we went several weeks sometimes without direct contact we always picked up where we left off she was one of those sort of people.
I remember so clearly on Charles and Camillas wedding day discussing UK versas US wedding, birthday and christmas cake.
God Bless her family.
God Bless you Jonny I realise how friendly she was with you from the freep mail about the card she wanted to make sure that I designed it to suit you. It was wonderful really though she did not tell me what to put on the card I just knew what to and you confirmed later that I had done so.
Tammy will be sorely missed.
I am heartbroken and my prayers go up for your family's solace in the time of grief. I'm so sorry. I will miss texasflower and her absence will be evident here at Free Republic. It was great posting with her over the year. It was evident in our conversations that you are all wonderful folks. This is truly saddening for me.
Thats a great picture
